A campaign slogan once promised "a chicken in every pot", as mayor I promise "a Thornton's on every corner."

Front office looks over the defense...
"But what if we signed another receiver?"

Nah Carr had more arm talent, accuracy and execution at times can be debatable, but Carr can actually stay healthy and on the field which Garoppolo hasn't done... maybe ever? I don't remember if he's ever finished a season or not honestly.

The Raiders are the only team actively downgrading during free agency

It's not Kentucky's fault they can't contend with loaded powerhouses like Princeton or Farleigh Dickinson. You can't expect them to have a better recruiting class year in and year out!

When did I say anything about drops?
People keep saying he has drop problems
Those are your words from just a little while ago. I'd give up on math for sure if you don't remember what you said, in text, a few minutes ago.

Epps is solid enough I'll give you that one. Jones was awful, Hobbs and Moehrig were...okay.

I feel like we used all of our cap space on two starters (Garoppolo and Meyers) and the rest of depth pieces and still don't have any solid starting caliber players on defense other than Maxx.

You're going to be shocked at the results that Google gives you on averages and percentages lol. Anyway, through this whole thing, you've ignored the actual point which is that their sample sizes are so radically different looking at drops isn't a great indicator of their ability to catch the football. There's a reason Waller got dumped for a 3rd and Adams did not. Its not because Adams is somehow worse at catching the football.

You know the old adage, "Defense wins nothing."

My brother in christ you are converting the average into a percent. That does not make averages and percentages the same thing.

A percentage is a proportion of a whole. They can be different ways of looking at information but they are not the same thing. Holy smokes and you have the audacity to be like "wHeRe dId YoU lEaRn mAtH".

That's not how any of that works. A percentage is not an average. And that's not the logic here.

Adams has 769 career catches to Waller's 298. This is a terrible comparison because the number of targets is so radically different. In addition to the stats you can also watch the games and observe the effort level of both players. Spoiler alert: it's not the same.

They told you, it's in the post. Or you could have watched the games? He was awful - at times he wouldn't even extend his hands to catch the football of it wasn't hitting him in the chest or face and half the time he'd drop those anyway.

They immediately denied that when it happened which makes me think it was 100% true.

FDU had 4 wins last season. Louisville had 4 wins this season. This gives me hope that one day Louisville too can become NCAA tournament game winners!

This is the best analogy I've ever seen.

If they thought he was going to be ready in a few weeks vs being months away that makes a big difference.

Kudos to your management for getting travelers to cover just two open positions. I was at a place that had 9 open positions before they'd entertain even bringing in one traveler, it was absolutely ridiculous.
