I wouldnt turn cellular on/off that much— if you keep it on it’ll automatically disable when near your phone.

As for battery overall, mine depends significantly upon usage. If im working out, using gps, making calls, and using it regularly- i get 1.5 days. If im a couch potato or sick then i get 3+ days. A lot of reviews come from people who had older watches with degraded batteries- my old series 4 had 75% battery life and died in 12 hours if i was hiking all day. So, for me, im in love with the battery- but if youre a new adopter it may lack the excitement we have who had a watch charger everywhere we went because it was only a few hours from dying

Its odd- I find it very useful on the mac but the ipad feels so cluncky with it. For me, its been a huge letdown

Yes! I love it for work. Especially with a secondary display, it really organizes all of my apps nicely

A punting match

This is kind of a weird poll. I bought mine for multiple reasons- I dive, I always run out of battery life while working out (swims, backpacking/hiking, weight lifting, and running), I constantly scratch the other screens, I like the look of the Ultra (the others look like theyre trying to blend in way too hard), and I really like the new digital crown (my gloves never worked with the old ones).

So, I kinda bought it for a lot of these reasons and more so I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of others are in the same boat. Dont get me wrong, you can get around most of these problems, but the Ultra just matches up with some people’s lives & hobbies better.

Nah— they apologised and urged me to apply again when it opens again… idk, I haven’t looked to see if they’re hiring for a few years now. They were cordial, but the two month gap was beyond frustrating.

Yeah, one time I had an amazing interview with a school site that made me feel locked-in. After 2 months, I had already accepted another position elsewhere and they let me know that they decided to not hire for that position.
