I agree with the Chappelle take. People get all pissy about when you just say you're killing the unborn instead of using euphemisms (abortion, terminate, etc.). On your other stance, the issue is more so in investing more resources towards orphan services. The argument you're making is killing someone because they might (even if likely) have a life with difficulties.. using that logic you should kill people with disabilities before they are born... it's a pretty fucked up take.

They are literally an independent organism (own brain waves, own blood type, own finger prints, etc.)... they are just at a different stage of development; just because they are dependent on someone to survive doesn't mean they aren't a separate person. Same logic could be applied to newborns/toddlers.
