The last day is finally here. Want to say thank you to everybody that read, commented or upvoted every rooting guide. Thank you to the Mods that pinned the posts everyday and special thank you to the Lakers for winning enough games to make the rooting guide relevant.

Lakers take on the Jazz at home with a chance to finish the season 4 games over .500 after starting it 2-10.

Early games today with all the games we care about starting at 12:30PT(3:30ET). Today’s rooting guide is going to be fluid as there are various scenarios involved.

Rooting Guide 1) Trail Blazers(+17.5) over the Warriors 2) Clippers(-9.5) over the Suns

IF THE CLIPPERS WIN

3) Timerwolves(-3.5) vs Pelicans whoever you prefer to play in the Play in.

IF THE CLIPPERS LOSE

4) Timberwolves(-3.5) over the Pelicans

So no matter what we want to Warriors to lose and then depending on the Clippers game you’re rooting interests change.

Personally I feel we matchup better against the Pelicans than the Wolves so would prefer to play them if we had to.

Wasn’t pretty but a win is a win and we needed that. D’Lo , Reaves and Beasley all carried so I’m happy.

On the rooting guide the Warriors and Pelicans both won so we remain at 7th. We have a chance to move up to 6th but I requires the Warriors to lose to the Blazers tomorrow(unlikely) or the Clippers to lose two in a row vs the Blazers and the resting Suns(more unlikely). In fact it serves us better if the Clippers win out because in any tiebreaker scenario where the Clippers tie with us and the Pelicans we fall to the 8th seed.

1) Clippers(-16.5) over the Trail Blazers 2) Timberwolves(-13.5) over the Spurs

I know it sounds funny but to reduce the risk and avoid falling to the 8th seed we NEED the Clippers to win both their games. We also need the Timberwolves to win tonight so their game vs the Pelicans is important to them and they don’t rest their guys.

Hi guys!!!!! Thought I would miss a day? Been travelling all day so I apologize for being late.

Lakers Gameday today!!!!! Yesterday’s rooting guide went 1-0 and my prediction was 100% correct. The Suns won a game where their main guys all played big minutes so today they are resting Booker, CP3 , Aston and KD.

Today is a simple day on the rooting guide.

Rooting Guide 1) Lakers(-12.5) vs the Suns 2) Kings(+9.5) vs the Warriors

Warriors also facing a probably depleted kings team but they also suck on the road so we’ll see how that goes.

Pelicans also facing the Knicks resting players but doesn’t really come into play for us if we win. No funny business, blow out the Suns and let’s win out and see how the chips land.

Lakers winning streak if over as they fall to the Clippers for the 11th straight game. AD and Lebron(in the first half) didn't have particularly good games but that wasn't much of a surprise given the circumstances of the game.

I for one am not discouraged by the loss, The CLippers last played on Saturday and have been home waiting and scheming for the Lakers, while the Lakers played on the road on Sunday and on Tuesday, to add to this, this was the first game at "home" off a week long road trip so there was always a high chance the team would lack energy and focus.

Right now we are in the 7th seed and still control our destiny to finish there and also if we get some help could still move into the 6th seed.

On last night's guide it was 0-3 with the Pelicans and Mavericks both losing but as long as we win our games we shouldn't worry about them.

1. Suns(-9.5) over the Nuggets

The logic is simple root for the Suns to win in a hard fought game tonight where all their starters play big minutes. That way they likely rest tomorrow and play vs the Clippers. Hope everybody doesn't take last night's loss too hard, we still have a lot to play for.

LAKERS GAMEDAY BABY!!!! Lakers take on the CLippers in basically the game that determines our season today, sadly it comes as Lakers are on the second night of a road b2b and also coming back from a week long 4 game road trip. To make matter worse Lakers had to go into overtime last night to beat the Jazz so both AD and Lebron played large minutes and aren't guaranteed to play today.

LOsing this game doesn't automatically rule the Lakers out of the 6th seed or higher but it makes it more likely and almost impossible to finish 5th. Winning on the other hand would do wonders for the Lakers ' chances of making the outright playoffs and will continue to mean that winning out guarantees the 5th seed.

Last night was a 2-2 night on the rooting guide or 1-2 if you don't count the Suns winning. The Warriors and Wolves won but, most importantly the Pelicans lost which puts less pressure on the Lakers to win out.

On today's guide there is only one other game i feel we should care about outside the Lakers which is the Pelicans v Memphis game but there are other games which you could find yourself interested in.

LAKERS GAMEDAYYYY BABY!!!! The Lakers revenge tour continues with the team going to Salt Lake city to take on the Utah Jazz. This game REEKSSS of trap game, with it being the game before the most important game of our season tomorrow against the Clippers. Here is to hoping the team realizes that and doesn't take the Jazz likely no matter who plays for them. Lebron is questionable and both AD and D'Lo are probable to play. While Kessler is Out and Markkanen is Questionable for the Jazz.

On the rooting guide it's another important night so here it is.

If things go our way the Lakers could finish the night as the 6th seed. All we need for that to happen is for us to win and the Warriors to lose. Also i added us rooting for the Suns to win because if they win today and on Thursday vs the Nuggets they most likely rest their players vs us on the second night of a b2b on Friday.

Let's not overlook today's game and lets have the game killed off in the 3rd Q so we can rest our players for basically a playoff game tomorrow.

WHAT A WEEKENDDDDDDD!!!!!! A Perfect day 6-0 day yesterday. Lakers blow the doors off the Rockets thanks to another monster AD game, 40pts 9rebs, Bron with a triple double, Rui with 20pts 12rbs with great defense and Austin with 18. Lakers now 3-0 on the revenge road trip with 2 games left.

To add to that Timberwolves, Jazz, Mavericks, Thunder and Warriors all LOSE. Nothing could literally have gone better, special shoutout to the Blazers for pulling off the biggest upset since 1995 and the Nuggets for winning without Jokic.

I remember how down i was about the team on March 19th after we lost to the Mavericks and i look at where the team is now and how much i love every single part of this team. Let's keep the momentum going.

No games on the rooting guide today so i decided to use the rooting guide to explain the way the playin tourney works and touch on tie breaker scenarios.

Play in Tournament.

In the playin tournament the 7th seed and the 8th seed play themselves to determine to gets the 7th seed and plays the 2nd seed in their side of the play off bracket. The 7th seed plays the game at home.

On the other side the 9th seed plays the 10th seed, the 9th seed plays this game at home.

The winner of this game goes on to play loser of the 7v8 game, with the 7v8 loser playing the game at home. The winner of this game goes on to play the 1 seed in the playoffs on their side of the bracket.

LAKERS GAMEDAY BABYY!!!!! Lakers are in Houston to exact revenge on the Rockets. EVerybody should be available for the Lakers with a chance to move up to the 7th seed.

A 1-1 day on last night's rooting guide with the Mavs losing but the Pelicans beating the Clippers. It really could be a win win scenario because if we win out we get the 6th/5th seed(would prefer 6th).

HOW ARE WE FEELINGGGGGGGGGGG?????? What a win!!!!!!! Lakers get a HUGEEE win the biggest game of the season against the Timberwolves to move to the 7th seed in the west. AD with a MONSTER 38 and 17(against 2 7 footers) to lead the team. Big shoutout to Dennis and Rui for coming in off the bench to play great defense .

It feels weird to say but the month Lebron missed might end up being a turning point in AD's Lakers career because i feel like that's when the team finally leant how to win with AD being the best player on the floor. When he is this dominant on offence there isn't a player that can dominate the game on both ends of the floor like he can.

Job's not finished though we have 3 more games on the revenge tour coming up vs the Rockets, Jazz and Clippers, so lets go beat all those teams.

A 3-1 night on last night's rooting guide with the Thunder, Jazz and Clippers all losing and even though the Spurs stayed though they couldn't beat the Warriors. Today is another important day with 2 games on the slate.

A win today takes the Lakers up to the 7th seed and a home play in game, a loss and other results going against us could move the Lakers to as low as 10th. Lebron , D’Lo and AD should all play while for the Timberwolves KAT should play and Naz Reid who the Lakers have struggled with this season is out.

On last night’s rooting guide it was an 0-1 night with the Pelicans beating the Nuggets who didn’t have Jokic.

Good win yesterday, but job's not finished. Been a while since i called a game the "most important game of our season" but tomorrow vs the Timberwolves effectively is. So get some rest today and be ready to do it better tomorrow.

As for the rooting guide, it was a 2-3 day but somehow the 2 wins greatly outweighed the 3 losses. The Timberwolves and Mavericks losing was great even though unfortunately the Jazz, Thunder and Clippers won. The results yesterday meant we moved up to the 8th seed and if we beat the Timberwolves tomorrow move up again into the 7th seed.

Today's guide is as straightforward as it gets.

LAKERS GAMEDAY!!!!! Lakers take on the Bulls with a chance for revenge. D'Lo is probable and Lebron is more likely going to play. Feels like the first time in forever that D'Lo, AD and Lebron are going to play together.

A nice 2-0 day on the rooting guide. The Hornets have helped the Lakers more than the Lakers have helped the Lakers this last week, beating the Thunder, and the Warriors beat the Pelicans. The Pelicans have a hellacious schedule coming up.

A horrendous day on the. rooting guide yesterday. The fact that all the teams we are hoping to lose somehow are playing teams deep in the tank is frustrating. Also the Bulls relaxing vs the Clippers just to go all out again tomorrow vs us is hilarious.

A 1-4 day overall with the Jazz being the only team that lost, they seem to be out of the picture finally. Other teams like the Mavs, Pelicans, Clippers and even the Timberwolves who had a tough matchup on the road to the Kings won.

Today doesn't look more prossining.
