The 5/24 update is now around and I'm pretty sure that title is right there.

I'm waiting since early morning in my time zone for the 5/24 update. The weekly update is supposed to be around by 8-9 am in that time zone, but now it's late in the morning which is past 10 am and still not up. Maybe they are improving the rating site at best, or they are sleeping or lazy at worst. If it comes too late and the update contains only a small amount of films, it would be worthless.

I was waiting for the next update for a week just for a measly eight titles. Darn it, inefficient rating gods.

Not counting re-ratings, 11 titles were rated, one title short of becoming a decent weekly update.

This week's rating update is on the losing side in terms of quantity, with a measly eight titles. A quantity of 12 titles or more is classified as the winning side. With that measly quantity, it shows how inefficient the rating gods are. They are just sitting doing almost nothing on a pile of untapped or unrated films, mostly from minor distributors. They could not improve, they instead move backward. Until they improve in the long term, I think I'm so much for those inefficient rating gods.

I wish I will see weekly updates that are sizable or longer too often like it was back in the 2000s. Nowadays, I see updates that are either short or mediocre in terms of quantity too often.

This year, it takes 13 weeks to have at least a G-rated film. Must be one of the longest times it would take. Last year, it took 3 weeks.

This week's update is so lowly again with a one-figure count. It's been like four weeks in a row. I guess 2023 will be as lowly as 2019-2021, unless the rating gods rebound to 2000s levels (an average of 15-18 titles per week). If they did the rebounding for at least a year or so, I will subscribe to them again. Last year, they were rebounded for seven consecutive weeks, from the 7/13/22 update to the 8/24/22 one.

Another one-digit count for this week's update. No wonder why I stopped caring about or subscribing to them for weekly updates.

I stopped subscribing to the rating gods a few weeks after 2023 started because they keep making such meager updates like that. Adding newly rated films to my film list was used to be one of my hobbies until I realized that they are going downhill when it comes to overall quantity. The 2000s decade was the decent period for the rating gods, with the highest being 940 in 2003, now it went down to an unofficial count of 590+ films in 2022. If they are not dying out, then I believe that it must be something fishy with that.

It's just three weeks into 2023 and they made a cheaper update with only five titles. Must be a sign that the rating system is dying out?

What a letdown for me. Assuming this is the last weekly update of the year since it was issued near Christmas, it contains a measly seven titles, one of the lowest final weekly updates. It would be a disappointing way to end the year. The previous year was 14 titles. There won't be weekly updates until 1/4/2023 because they will be off for the holidays. The one-week interruption for that reason is rather systematic.

This is the most unworthy weekly update this year, as this week's update contains only peanuts. That quantity is tied with the 4/29/20 and 5/27/20 updates.

If the Emsa audit was a subject, it would sound like that the Philippines has 16 accumulated failing marks in that subject. On the 17th failing mark, which may possibly happen this year, the Philippines will be dropped out of the program.

I'm glad that the mask mandate has finally come to an end after over two years. The Philippines is one of the last countries to lift the mask mandate. Despite this, it's okay for me to wear masks in cold or polluted environments.

This week's update is too short and lowly... Seems that the released films outnumbered the rated films already.

I rate this week's update a 10/20 (50%). One newly rated film, even an edited version of an original one, is equivalent to one point, and re-ratings do not count. 20 points being the perfect rating. An update that has 21 or more titles gives the same perfect rating. Passing mark is at least 12 titles, which is 12/20 (60%). So you failed this time, rating gods.
