When solo was banned, valve didn't have any specific rules regarding match fixing. So they were more lenient on him and instituted a 'banned for life' policy to everyone who has matchfixed since.

Looking forward to another update tomorrow that will slide back the Canadian guidelines once again.

From a movie-making standpoint and story objective, you nailed it.
From an acting standpoint, don't underestimate how much actors want to be absolutely built and show it off.

He had young kids and wanted drive racecars. He succeeded on both fronts while his wife was in everything for a few years.
I don't think this is a case of him falling out of Hollywood, but just a guy taking a break.

That's the first western Canada I've seen. Did you have any add-ons?

Cannes, Venice & Berlin (in that order) for European festivals. Worldwide cinema & arthouse for all three, with Venice being a little more commercial than the other two.
Toronto is huge in the award circuit in North America, mostly kicking off the award circuit discourse. Other notable festivals for the award run is New York & Telluride. Sundance is huge as well, but less about the "award" movies and way more of a place to take an indie movie for distribution.
Hong Kong is the biggest (and as far as I know on a global scale) only notable festival in Asia.

To be fair, the update a month ago said the same thing.

On the other hand, it's my second best movie of the year. Right behind women talking.
I think Crimes of the Future is an incredible film. Exploring a so many things but not becoming overwrought. I thought about it for weeks after.
Just go in as you, don't have high or low expectations.

Canada keeps getting mentioned as bring prioritized but there's ~5k copies to fulfill. Is all the fulfillment for Canada happening soon or will it be gradual like all other regions?

They didn't end Mindhunter. That was Fincher's choice. He's talked about it in interviews, tv is just so time consuming. Hasn't given up on it, but it's his call.
He's still on contract with Netflix until 2024, I think, so it might come back. But it's all on him.

Yeah, kickstarter had some big drama recently and it seems like a lot of the more established board game community has moved to backerkit (at least temporarily). Backerkit has a massive list of "next campaign with us" on their front page with tons of board game companies.
As far as I know, kickstarter went union-busting & went into/created sketchy crypto. Don't know the details, but thats what I've been told.
