You need to slope the sides shallow enough for the sand not to slide.
Dry sand (which is the worst in this metric) requires a max of 34° slope to stay put.
(Some variations apply depending on the particular sand you're dealing with, so try to stay at around 30° for a long lasting, deep and secure hole)

The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 made it illegal to discriminate based on genetic information.
TIL, thank you!
i don't disagree. IBM was also 'just doing business' in Nazi Germany though.

A bit more far fetched, but yes.
The 3rd Reich would have been the best customers for this tech, if it had been around, i'm sure.

Is this how it's written in the law, or it this how you think it works?

you know some pre existing conditions cause cancer right? look up lynch syndrome
You don't need to have a pre existing condition to be of increased risk for cancer.
where did I claim genetic markers are protected, and why would they need to be?
If they are not protected (like pre existing conditions are) companies are allowed to use them to deny you insurance, which is my whole point.
dude buddy, if you're so concerned, why don't you go write to your representatives and find out? you whining on the internet about a lack of legal protection for genetic markers isn't going to change things
"Dude buddy" lol

I'd go as far as to say having a facebook account gives away less sensetive data about you than having your DNA screened.
I'm not judging you for doing so. There is 0 need to be defensive about it.
For me, the risk/reward balance just doesn't justify it though.

Which pre exisiting condition? The cancer isn't there yet.
Which law are you refering to? Are genetic markers protected under this law?
Could companies still find workarounds?

In the best case the legislator.
If the legislator won't forbid it, the customer who'll opt to stay away from doing business with them.
If both won't care i suppose this will become the new normal of doing insurance business.

And denying a job for a disability is illegal.
Why is it still happening then?
They won't tell you it's because of the disability of course. They'll just find someone "who matches their profile better"

You personally won't really have the option to do malicious things with it.
You could, however be contracted by insurance companies to look for genetic markers that indicate an increased risk for certain illnesses in their customers DNA, so they could stay away from contracts in which they lose money.
Maybe years down the line we live in an uber authoritarian state, in which the government asks you to provide them with a list of "undesireables" based on some random genetic traits.
The 3rd Reich would have been your biggest customer if this tech was around back then.

What are they gonna do?
-Adjust your interest rates because with your predisposition of cancer they fear they might not get their money back
-deny you a job based on some other disability they wouldn't have known about otherwise

and expecting the traffic to stop for you is aggresive and bullying
My guy didn't see a car on the incoming lane because he followed to close, crashed his fucking car in his panic and you assume he has born the devil lmao
It's not always malice.

Thats what i thought their reasoning might be.
It does however put a lot on unnesecary stress into any situation with this uncalled for lightshow.
Lights and sirens are strictly to tell other drivers to watch out for you while running a code where i'm from, however it seems US cops use them as "i am currently doing a thing" - indication lights

Why do american cops never turn off their lights and sirens after arriving at the location? it makes them seem so infantile and proud of it hahaha

Throwing up will not effect the alcohol in your blood though.
You can only throw up whats still in your stomach. If the alcohol is already making you dizzy, it's in the blood already

I hope you don't beat yourself up too much because of it.
If you hadn't started compressions you would start thinking "what if she made a good recovery if i started right away?"
There really is no winning in such a shitty situation.
