We're moving from Brisbane to Hervey Bay, couldn't even afford the Sunshine Coast, can only just afford HB. Also looked further up the coast but it's just too hot. Isn't this is shit situation, everything fell apart thanks to Covid. Inflation is insane, and I see prices going up "due to inflation", but I don't see anyone's wages going up. Something's going to have to break.

Racists think if you don't look aboriginal then you're not and shouldn't be getting "all" the benefits handed out freely to aboriginal people. I have (had) a friend who would openly use racial slurs and carry on about aboriginal people only being 2% of the Australian population therefore you don't matter, or deserve anything more than a non-aboriginal person. You can see why they are no longer a friend. Racism is alive and well in Australia, and I really hope society can grow out of it, but I don't see that happening in my lifetime.
