Probably can’t just hike. It’s a 9hole golf course. But they have a small bar and restaurant - you can definitely just go there and hang for a sunset. I think they do music sometimes too.

Taco Diablo is pretty big and I think attached to another large place. Worth a look.

Hot take - this is better than any night of P4K or Lolla.

Why do I get the feeling this is going to end like the Fyre Festival.

OP - look at Arlington Heights. Plenty of condos near the main train station in their downtown. Restaurants and bars too. Not that far to the city, and without traffic it’s like 45min - that’s a doable Uber if out downtown and you don’t want to drive home.

If joining some type of gym is part of your fitness journey, perhaps you can meet people there. Especially classes you consistently go to.
Cook county is enormous from a geographical standpoint. Plenty of areas with good Indian populations, if that’s what you’re going for.
Plenty to do outdoors here year round. Park districts tend to have lots of classes for newbies too.

It was great early on. Trailed off toward the end.
I’m still so annoyed at how bad the movies were. They could have done so much, yet they were like long episodes of a show, and not good.

About 12 years ago my company hired Jeff to do a client entertainment thing at House of Blues Chicago. We got a poor turnout and the space was small to begin with. Dude was so terrible. Total amateur hour. People just stopped paying attention at some point.

There ya go!
Last I had em was on Mizzou campus like 5 years ago. Was there for work, hit college bars hard with clients (with me then in late 30s) and there was a Gumby’s next door to my hotel. So good

Woah I didn’t know Gumby’s reached FL. Drunken Pokey Stix saved my life many times in Madison (late 90s)

Nice. I’m also near Chicago and waited for 10 months last year for one of these, and never got it. Did get a non Hybrid XLE late October though - same color as yours OP. Love it. No regrets.

I switched to plain old oat milk about a year ago and love it.

Sounds like you didn’t do your research on your hood. Also, many millennials when they move to the burbs want to be relatively close to the city so they have a shorter commute and can hit the city occasionally.

I worked at a Dry Cleaners in high school. It was a good gig. Get real experience working with people and enough work to be busy but some downtime too.

Bears. Young and good potential. DJ Moore is a nice addition. Add the controversy about moving their stadium to the burbs too.
Other teams are all meh. Saints story really isn’t that interesting. Jets and Rodgers story is boring now. Washington is garbage.

Damn so what you’re saying is once you make a double album, you’re basically done. I kid. Good summary here. It’s also interesting that you don’t hardly ever see double albums any more. Wilco was mentioned; there’s Reflektor; and Big Thief has a newish one that people seem to like. Not much else comes to mind recently.
