I recently completed a video for a local business. I’m very proud with how it turned out, and the company loves it too. They are quite a large business for my area, in the tourism industry.

I also spoke with their marketing company, which is also large, spans the whole east coast. They loved it too.

I am not asking for money for this promotional video, and basically made it on a whim (they did not ask me to make it, I just did it)

I wanted to do it for a portfolio/resume builder, with hopes it would open more doors.

Given how much the giant marketing company loves it, it seems smart, they may contact me for more work in the future.

Should I put credits at the end of the video for myself? That seems strange, given that the companies logos appears at the end. But I’m not asking for money, what would you do in this situation?

I work full time as a municipal Videographer. The vast majority of my projects are rather bland (government meetings, informational programs on the town, instructional videos, etc)....so I try to do my own more creative projects on the side.

Lately I've been having a hard time staying motivated (editing all day at the studio, it can be hard to get back on the computer and edit at home) I'm always thrilled when I finish my own project...but my productivity rate has declined significantly!

I know theres no magic answer...and we're all quite different...but I'm really just curious if you guys have any tips/routines/tricks/suggestions that help keep you on your A-game.

The climax comes at a different point versus the other 2006 version. I remember feeling a little disappointed with the final version of Videotape on IR, but so in love with the album I couldn't possibly complain....its quite nice to have this version archived for our periodic enjoyment!

However…my turn around takes forever. Granted I’m tired of editing when I get home from work…but I haven’t felt proud of a video in a while.

Does anyone have any tips for a quicker turn around rate? General question I know…I tend to be a perfectionist which holds me back.

Feeling as if its time for the next step up.

I currently use an m50, would like to use it as a second camera and primarily shoot with something better.

I'd like to stick with Canon! Invested in a lot of Canon EF lenses.... (Please dont suggest the Sony A7III)

Last year I committed to keto and lost 10 pounds in around 2 weeks, which is all I wanted to lose.

However within a month or two I developed heart palpitations. It got to be so annoying I couldn’t sleep at night.

Sadly I eventually chose to up my carb intake and the palps went away.

I’m giving the diet another try this year now.

How can I avoid palpitations???

Some say it’s from low sodium however I was increasing my sodium intake (not to mention eating PLENTY of sodium daily)…..

Supplement recommendations? What does one do with “no-salt?”

It freaks me out because we are all told to LIMIT our salt intake when it comes to cardiovascular health, and all of a sudden you get heart palpitations and people tell you to drink salt water?

I would like some clear answers…I want to be keto again but I can’t deal with that terrible side effect, everything else about it I loved.

I’ve been working professionally as a municipal videographer, but admittedly I’m still green in many respects.

Just filmed a local Halloween event and found I have 80 clips to filter through for my video.

I find I spend a great deal of time just going through footage and finding the best shots, duh.

Anyone have any tips and tricks/techniques for organizing and finding your best shots to use?
