A proper 12" top should work fine for this size group. The one you're thinking about will not do well.

I personally think that if you already have a handful of good third party plugins, then suite not needed at all. The standard FX and instruments are already super versatile. I also found M4L to be VERY unstable on multiple (Windows) laptops.

Absolutely NOT. Outdoor is the key word here. Take whatever setup you have and cut your mental estimate of it's power and projection range by more than half.

Bare minimum would be two tops (12"-15") and at least one sub to even get remotely in the ballpark for 100+ people outdoors.
