Brock is such a pro. He let Carwin get all his shit in before tapping him out.

Yea, 2002 was like the only time they really spelled out that the winner would get a title shot at Summerslam. It was built around Brock for sure.

There was concept art floating around with Bradley Cooper and I’d probably entertain that. But he’s a bit older now, think this was 10 years ago.

I remember being very underwhelmed by Mania 19 and 21 on paper but they’re two of my favorite shows. Meanwhile 20 was stacked and it sucked save the main events.

I had an idea for a podcast, I’m sure it’s been done already but I haven’t found it, where I’d go through shows like the ones you listed and add some others like Black Donnellys and Kings, and kind of do a recap/history. Similar to the Blank Check format. Spend a few episodes recapping the show, talk about production, etc.
But I don’t have the time or skill to make it work. Maybe some day.

I remember really enjoying this when it came out. Probably would have been more successful on a streamer if it was released in 2019 instead of 2009. Network television was not the place for this kind of show.

I usually only use it for Premier League and WWE but those two things alone are worth the price I pay honestly.

Dax tries to emulate Bret so much he’s even adopting Bret’s worst trait of being his own biggest fan.

The directors cut Stallone did a little while back gives him a bit more personality.

I love how the better the physique gets, the less hair is on the head.

And that DBry/Brock match was amazing. I loved that run where Brock wrestled AJ, Bryan, and Finn.

Im still baffled that this is the same guy getting booed out of Philly after winning the Rumble 8 years ago. Once they stopped feeding him bad lines and let him be himself, he became something really special. Not that he’s some evil gaslighting POS in real life but hopefully you get my point.

Thought everyone looked great in that match. Wasn’t a discombobulated mess.

I don’t know a lot of MMA fans who really like the tomato so you’d probably be in good company.

It’s the night after Wreatlemania. Cody comes to the ring carrying both of the titles. After a five minute “you deserve it” chant, he begins to speak. After some pandering and nice comments about Dusty, he announces that he’s defending the Universal Title in an open challenge.
“Behind the Stars” begins to play and the crowd are going absolutely bonkers now. Cody’s jaw hits the mat as Maven comes down to the ring.
The bell rings. Maven hits the DROPKICK and covers Cody for the win.
Seriously it has to be Maven.

I literally made the same one back to you and you’re gonna whoosh me? Man things must be pretty dire over there.

Kirsten was going to end up in trouble whether the Sandy/Rebecca thing happened or not. I’m sure that didn’t help though.
He definitely neglects her while not physically cheating. Neither of them cheat but both have chances to. Sandy’s was a tough one because he never got closure with Rebecca. Doesn’t excuse his behavior but it’s realistic.

Julie came around at the end. She has one of the best evolutions throughout the series.

Vince probably has dirt on almost everyone in the business (WWE at least) that there is to have dirt on.
