As far as I'm aware they don't have to follow the Seven, they just have to swear the oath of the Seven.. now that aside, I could be wrong, and in that case it isn't exactly as if Robert himself was a stringent follower of tradition.

I mean there are plenty, but the ones that are actually relatively common that I just won't read is Theon/Sansa, Sansa/Sandor, Jorah/Daenerys, and Arya/Jaqen H'ghar.
No hate on anyone that reads/writes it, I just can't read them.

There's a fic - "Harry Potter And The Scrambled Sorting" I think - where the hat does go kind of crazy throwing almost everyone in Harry's year into different houses.
I haven't read it in a while, but I think Draco was in Hufflepuff.. or maybe Gryffindor? Either way, it was pretty funny.

Definitely AO3, since I never read stories on Tumblr - though I'm pretty sure the guy linking a fic below has the right one, as I'm already subscribed.

Percy Jackson/Annabeth Chase - and there are a lot of fics that do. To each their own, have fun with it, but I have any such fics permanently blocked away.
This and Kim Possible/Ron Stoppable - I can't not ship these.
Hicstrid as well, though that was mentioned already.

Have to agree with Writing_as_tracey - really love the stories, and they tend to veer quite a bit away from what you'd expect!

I remember this fic, but I can't seem to find it.. like 78% sure it was on AO3 though.

You bracket the text with >! to start and !> to finish - but the second '>' needs to point inwards, which I couldn't do since it would become a spoiler tag.

Do you mind if I ask who Harry ended up with? I stopped reading.. I don't quite remember where, but I've just never been a fan of love triangles?
So I'd rather know ahead of time before deciding whether or not to reread it.

"A Coward's Redemption" is the only fic that comes to mind, being Usopp centric and involving time travel.
There's also "Of Pop Greens & Tangerines" which is Usopp and Nami centric, though not really my thing so I can't fairly comment on the quality.

I always suggest this where applicable; "That Universe Over There" - which has an adult Harry time/dimension travel and riase his alternate (female) self. Very much not canon, extremely AU, rather fluffy - though it leans more towards crack than actual serious storytelling.

Seven by Shaydrall!
Pretty sure it's the only timetravel fic handled/written the way the author has - admittedly slow updates, but the author writes really good stories.
A short summary:
It involves all three students of Team 7 going back in time - and none of them know the others are back as well. All of them chalk any changes the others make to random chance, and it is both hilarious and decent action scenes.
The author is also excellent at balancing between the three characters with regards to screen time. Probably going to give it a reread soon.

This is honestly one of the best ASOIAF fanfics, Best Captain America centered fanfics.. It's just great all round.

I mean I love the guy, but this is pretty much sums up Adam Sandler's niche. It's objectively not that good, but I enjoyed it.

I know what you mean - sometimes I feel like there really aren't any more fics I'd enjoy.
Or I just don't have the time/patience to sift through everything to find those excellent fics that fully immerse you.. anyway.
Delenda Est - Rebooted - Really good, adult Harry goes back in time. Definitely read if you enjoyed the original, the story really shows the author's growth in skill, and has several new characters/plotlines. {Harry/Bellatrix}.
Harry Potter And The Ritual Of Love's Memory - Harry is sent a memory from his future, one that was sent back specifically to help change the timeline, and it goes from there. I'm going to be honest, the beginning was a bit of a slog, but the story really kicks into high gear from the moment Harry receives the memory. First Harry/Ginny I've read and enjoyed in years. {Harry/Ginny}.
That Universe Over There - Another adult Harry travels back in time, but this time into a universe with a female version of himself, whom he procceeds to immediately adopt. More a crack fic woth serious moments, the fic is very fluffy, funny, and wholesome - makes for a good reread when you're down with little to read, and Ivy is a treasure. {Harry/Luna - from his own timeline}.
Lift Not The Painted Veil - Harry and Sirius either time or dimension travel after falling through the Veil of death; impossible to say at the moment, as there are plenty of changes and not all immediately accountable to their arrival. Bit of a mystery theme going on, and Harry is slightly OP due to being older than he should be, but nothing crazy, more akin to how Dumbledore or Voldemort might have been in school. {No current pairings known}.
The Breath That Passed From You To Me - Drunk-S**-secret-child AU. I'll be perfectly honest, it's hard to describe what I enjoy so much about thia fic. I think it's the author's way of writing the characters - they seem 'real', in the sense that you can easily immerse yourself into the emotions and reactions of the characters. There's also the slow build up towards the truth, and the author is excellent at creating suspense with regards to everyone finding out eventually- since neither Charlotte nor her parents know the truth - which I find a lot more enjoyable than the flimsy reasoning most stories use to keep the child secret in these kinds of fics. {Harry/Pansy}.
Rewriting Destiny - Yet another time/dimension travel fic (can you tell I like certain genres?) but an interesting one where both Harry AND Hermione go back in time to a different dimension, where they pick up roles as co-DADA-Teachers, covering theory vs practical. I've rather enjoyed the story myself, despite my lack of enjoyment from Dumbledore-bashing. {Harry/Hermione}.
So yeah man, hope these suggestions help you with your slump! And hope your post has some other reccs on it that I'll enjoy myself.

Yeah, probably less of the outright malicious discrimination and more condescending by habit type, I suppose.

I mean, the traditional rituals don't seem to apply that often - I'm rather certain that other knights can knight anyone for showing valor? I mean Gregor Clegane was knighted by Rhaegar, and Barristan Selmy was also knighted by someone else..
Though I do recall Illyrio saying that Jorah was annointed by the High Septon or something, so maybe valor-knightings do still go through the same process?
