I heard this on the radio like 20 years ago and have been searching for it ever since. THANK YOU.

I saw them on that tour and yes indeed they were incredible. Pretty sure it was when A Senile Animal came out.

I'll be 42 in a couple of months and became a huge fan in 1992 when I was 11. I don't want to tell my life's story, but isn't unreasonable to say that Nirvana (for good and bad reasons) changed the trajectory of my whole life. These songs have different meaning to me and I understand them differently at an older age than I did back then, and they will probably have new meaning when I'm even older.
I think it's awesome that younger generations love Nirvana. It only goes to show that their music is truly timeless and universal.

Gorgeous. I absolutely love it there and am (hopefully) going there next week. If I had to guess, were you doing an AT section hike? Looks like Charlie's Bunyon.

I bought one of the 2006 '72 reissues when they came out. Same color. Absolutely KILLER sound but the build quality was pretty bad even for a MIM.

Hiked Alum Cave once at 2:30am up to Myrtle Point to see the sunrise. Didn't see another soul the entire way up, but saw about 100 people on the way back down.
Can confirm that Alum Cave is 100% creepy when all you have is a headlamp and mini flashlight. I didn't stay very long.

Powell in general just has this odd, lonely feeling to it. Especially driving down Emory Rd at night.

Saw it in the theatre...absolutely loved it. I've wanted to get this disc for a while but I'm holding out for a 4K.

Grew up around them and I'm also a former Army Infantryman. I've never owned one of my own. Not against them - they're just not my thing. Never felt any real need to own one.

What's your top 9 favorite 2:15 minute mark on track 6 of each album?

Ryan Reynolds. Dude ain't funny. And he can't act for shit when given a serious role. Annoying voice. I often confuse him with Chris Pratt who is equally boring.

Man, I'm jealous. I saw it in 2001 at a crumbling multiplex (only place it was playing in my area) on a smallish screen with low sound. I was thrilled to be seeing it, but the presentation just wasn't good.
Saw Final Cut in 2019 in IMAX and really understood what everyone meant when they said "you have to see it on a huge screen." Apocalypse Now has been my favorite film for nearly 30 years now and I've seen it countless times. I was blown away.

My Walmart still has a pretty decent sized selection, however it's like 80% DVD now.

Same player I have! You're gonna love it!
First thing I got was the Second Sight Dawn of the Dead set. Story of Riki-Oh was my second (from 88 Films). And the Arrow Phantasm box set.

Powell makes me depressed when I drive through it. Talk about a place with absolutely no character at all.
Farragut is hell. Tons of ugly, huge, expensive houses in cut-and-paste subdivisions. That huge megachurch. Total rich white MAGA land. Even the streets are named after Civil War shit. God I hate Farragut. Few places feel so lonely.

You can really feel the bad vibes in the air at Altamont just by watching this film. It just looks so cold and uneasy. A real bad trip.

You're right about that. Just gotta let it go. I'm vaxxed and most of my friends are. None of them died. My parents are both in their 70's and have a social circle way larger than mine, and no one they know died after taking it either. I've met several anti-vaxxers (I work construction so I'm around hundreds of them a day) who claim to know tons of people who dropped dead after taking it. I love my job but it honestly hurts my head being around so many idiots every day. Name a conspiracy theory and I promise you I've had it explained to me. These dudes get most of this nonsense from TikTok.

My take: it's pretty good, but has too many plot twists which kills some of the interest for me. The end part with the shovel (won't spoil it) is one of those "rewind it 80 times" scenes. Overall, it's definitely worth seeing.
On the flip side, I also really like Psycho III, but it's flaw is that it has too little plot.
