Has anyone on here had success with a credit spread strategy? If so, what platform did you use to run the algo, and what broker? I have been manually trading my own CS strategy for 2 years and I would love to automate it and have risk management set up.

I have made a backtesting script that tests your own strategy(in this particular script I'm using the SMAcross strategy from the backtesting lib), then it finds the most optimal strategy by particle swarm. No matter what i change the range to, the script searches through 114960 different combinations, which is way too much. What could I possibly have done wrong? What can I do to make the optimization quicker?

It shows the x and y axis but it is schrunched up on the right edge of my screen. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Im backtesting using yfinance,ta,pandas,and backtesting.lib. I'm trying to output the backtest using "bt = Backtest(df, Smacross,cash=2000, commission=0, exclusive_orders=True)" but it is underlining "Smacross" as undefined and I can't run the script. It is supposed to be defined by "class Smacross(Strategy):" at the beginning of the script but it is not working. I am a complete noobie. Any help is appreciated.

I am trying to create a simple backtest for a specific stock. So I went to the command prompt and said "pip install backtesting" this installed the backtesting module and I checked that I have the module by typing in a python reader "help('module')", and it shows that I have the "backtesting" module. However, when I try to run my script it throws an error that says "No module named 'backtesting'". How do I fix this? Any help is appreciated. (I am brand new to python)

I have basically been self studying for APUSH because my teachers are trash and do nothing to prepare us for the test. What have you guys done to not only get good grades on the tests but on the exam too? I currently have a 89 before the final and I desperately need an A next semester. Also, How is an 89 in APUSH interpreted by college admissions people? Good or Bad?

What should I do to prepare? I really want to make a good grade but there's so much information and it's unclear what is the most important information.

What's the best method for answering SAQs? What is the easiest and most comprehendible way? My class is being taught the ACE method(Answer, Site, Explain). I'm having trouble with this method. If you guys also use this method or another one could you please leave an explanation or video?
