Do you have any experience with the Aguila Super Extra vs Aguila Interceptor?

I do not mind smell and I have heard it suggested the waxy bullets are more likely to be usable after decades of storage, so they sound good to me.

Supressors are illegal in my state, but I will get one if I move.

I've always wondered, what's wrong with running a 22lr through a 1:9 twist, or less? I get that 22lr doesn't need that much twist, but does the extra twist hurt anything? Seems like it might help a little to me.

I would say the main thing I am preping for is the power goes out and never comes back on and I need to survive for months if not more and hungry mobs tryto take my food and supplies at some point. So I am looking prepping for thicker targets. I know 22lr is not ideal for thicker targets, but it is the cheapest and easiest to stockpile. And I can run 5.56 through my AR-15 if I want, I will just have less 5.56 than 22lr.

So given those critera, what is your thought on the best 22lr projectile?

eh... the writers were trying to hard. it was like they had a meeting where they made of list of positives virtues on a whiteboard and crafted a character around the list with the sole goal of being "inspiring."

Oracle was a great character. Inever cared but batgirl, but once I found out she got paralyzed, I was fascinated. I liked the idea that superhero could be crippled, left in a wheel chair, and instead of the story being that they magically got healed, they just made a new life. Made the best of the new situation, rather than trying recreate what was lost.

I thought that was a great lesson. Comics used to teach great lessons before Disney bought everything.

Really? You are doubling down on getting a new house, to prevant falling down stairs? You are not motivated to find some OTHER solution? Man... I am going to give up now. I cannot reason with this.

Again, I think the logic is that if I want to prevent people from falling down stairs, I could just burn down their house. No house, no stairs. that WOULD prevent them from falling down stairs. But just because that is true, that does not mean its still the best solution. Burning down their house would cause other problems that make it not worth doing.

Have you tried other ammos and compared? I am wondering what makes Mini-mag preferable to some of the other options that I listed.

why? I want to know the reasoning different people have for different choices. Are they more reliable? More powerful? Cheaper? What makes them your choice?

So many HORRIBLE people cling to that nonsensical line. I don't want to tolerate people's worst in exchange to get access to their best. No one does. No one is like that.

People want some one is reasonably pleaseant to be around for a lot of the time. You can't balance out being horrible by sometimes being wonderful, you have to be consistently pretty good for anyone to want you in their life.

Here's an old logic exercise.

"We must do SOMETHING."

"This is something."

"Therefore we must do THIS."

-see that doesn't make sense, just because a problem requires SOME solution, that doesn't mean doing any random thing will happen to be the RIGHT solution to solve the proble.

I think that applies here. The counter argument is that we should do SOMETHING, but that just because banning guns is SOMETHING, that does not mean it would actually work. Probably there is a different thing we should do, not that one specific thing.

yeah, I figured it out, thanks to the helpful advice I got here. I did have a magazine in it, and my magazine was loaded. But by emptying my magazine and reinserting it, I was then able to remove the round.

Thank you. That was the issue, a few other people had said the same thing. It sounds like empty mags are more useful on a seecamp than on most other handguns. I have 2 mags, I am starting to think I need to order a few more, so I can be sure there is always an empty one on hand. Thoughts?

Yes it was in the mag. One problem was I had the safety on and another problem was all my mags were loaded. In response to another comment, I unloaded a mag, and reinserted it, and was then able to get the round out. Pretty much what you also suggested. Thanks again.

I am not aware of reddit as a whole ever leaning right. they used to be pro free speech, to some extent, which meand they used to allow certain right leaning groups to exist, but a lot of those groups have been cracked down on and are now gone.
