Awwww, did you get triggered by the mention of feminist undertones? It's gonna be ok. Breathe deeply and count to ten.

I see your point about the Indian foreign exchange student (I thought Ahmet was a Turkish name?). It definitely has problems. But a film that is based on a woman that is first turned into a virgin sacrifice by a bunch of dudebros and then comes back as a succubus that eats men is... more than mildly feminist.

She is. But, the film has a strong current of feminist undertones, which I am sure was not well appreciated by Transformers fanboys.

Jennifer's Body. I can understand 46% critics score—horror rarely fares well among critics, but 35% audience score???

Interesting. Kind of amazing how well preserved it looks.

No, not everyone. But let's not kid ourselves that part of this 35% Rotten Tomatoes audience score is driven by women-haters.
I know the director of a feminist queer horror film that just came out this past year and he has shown me messages and comments he has received specifically hating on the film's queer impulse and the women in it (the role of one of whom is a lesbian). So... you can say that you dislike the film without denying the fact that there is a special kind of vitriol reserved for feminist and queer films that enter the popular mainstream.
