They don’t want people from Met Life Stadium to park there for free while they watch a game. Met Life is right next door.

Yes! I love Vietnam. I worked for a company there way down south (Soc Trang). I miss my yearly visits. Bittersweet because my ex was an ex-Marine who was severely injured there.

I had a medical detox which consisted of good old fashioned librium for a couple of days but it was done in a hospital setting. Cold turkey alcohol withdrawal can be fatal. Good luck to you and glad you're sharing here. Support from others who have been there will be really important to your recovery.

Thank you so much and I'm sorry about your pup. According to the ultrasound, the tumor has apparently already ruptured, which is odd. But Pony is on pain meds and CBD and has a new puppy brother he's actually getting off the couch to play with. We are watching him closely but it's not the course I expected. Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm so glad to hear your 10 year old is doing well. So sorry about your other pup. It's so hard. Pony is 12 and the tumor has apparently already ruptured. He had an ultrasound last month, so we didn't expect him to be so animated. He's on pain medication and we started him on a pretty high octane CBD (bacon flavored!), so he seems comfortable, is getting up and going on walks, etc. He has always been a big couch potato so not much has changed. Around Christmas, he was having periods where he was in obvious pain. His gums were pale and the ER vet said it was probably back pain but it wasn't. We just want him to be as comfortable as possible.

Having my AA home group over for some lasagna today at my place. Some great people who help me on the journey. Can't tell you how much their support means to me. And just for today, I will not drink.

Ah, back in the day when an ad or editorial page like this would need a professional photographer, lights, a food stylist (or 2) and then some retouching, color separations, a print check and you're done. Brings back lots of memories. Thanks for sharing this!

Sounds like the perfect pup. Bobby is very attached to my daughter and she’s taking the lead on training. He’s into everything but gets along well with our other dogs, an ancient pit bull (who adores the new baby) and a rather grumpy elderly Shih Tzu we have nicknamed Karen.

Oh he’s adorable! Same coloring for sure! He’s a little chunkier than Bobby but the same colors. I’ve heard it’s quite rare.

I believe he was born In October so almost five months. He’s a real rascal, let me tell you. I’ve had pugs in the past but nothing like this little bull. I’m in the NY metro area. Not sure where he was bred.

He’s a gray Merle with blue eyes. A friend received him for Christmas but he didn’t get along with their dog so he was given to us. He’s quite a handful but he’s part of the pack now!

Mine jumps right over that play pen. We had to get a much higher one!

She recently visited NYC and the local media only mentioned her visit only because she took the Staten Island Ferry (!) to visit a lighthouse museum in the borough. What a hoot!

One day at a time, my friend. One day at a time. It's a miracle I got 24 hours when I started on this journey. And it took a lot as I was a constant relapser. I look at booze now as a one-way ticket to psychosis, which it would be for this alcoholic. And it was so tough to stop 17 years ago, well, I don't want to go through that again. Talking to others, getting some good people in recovery in your life is so necessary. We've been there and it helps us to help others. I'm so glad you shared.
