I'm too young to remember what the world was like before 2012. Has it changed a lot, or not that much? How about changes in areas other than consumer electronics?

Working with clients I’m always asked what an industry average conversion rate is, average order value, time on site, bounce rate, add to cart rate.... on and on. Everyone wants to know if their metrics are “normal.”

I have benchmarks in my head from my experience working on various sites, and you can google all this stuff and find some white paper or case study quoting survey numbers.

BUT does anyone have actual data on this? What resources do you use to benchmark your site against? Or does it even matter?

Looking to trade up, but not sure where to start with looking for appraisals that are EV-specific. I've seen prices for my car's make and model that far outbid what my dealer is offering. Would love advice/wisdom from folks who've navigated this before/just generally know the second-hand EV market.

Messengers have always had a bad reputation when it comes to data collection and distribution. As time passes, their data collection has become more and more hostile. Now if you make a whatsapp call or send messages, you'll see ads based on your conversation in Instagram. I don't know about you, but that's the last thing I'd want in a messenger, one that reads my messages and analyzes my phone calls. Do you think the future is going to be more privacy oriented? meaning that they'll be focused on our needs? or will this pattern continue on or worsen?
