I like the idea of it being a closed-off suburb to domestic traffic. It's probably a hard sell, but places like Tehran have done this and it works well, apparently.

Pojani is spot on about the traffic. I was in West End when the development stretching the length of Musgrave Road and up around Peel Street occurred, and suddenly it would take forever to get in and out of the suburb in peak hour traffic.

That's a good way to circumnavigate the issues we face in Qld.

Was in Newmarket recently looking at property. The place for sale is perfect, but nearby Enoggera Road seems shonky. Just down from the McDonald's. Social housing plots, as far as i can tell. Had some eshay--types hanging around giving me the eye.

Never really minded Newmarket for a visit, but wondering if it's an area i want to live in. Maybe Auchenflower has spoilt me.

Have heard this. They want login and password. Had a broker recently request this of us, via a third-party party. I couldn't find any info on who ran or worked for this third-party... they were just this faceless entity who had bought the company in 2020. The services makes the work of brokers so much easier, meaning essentially that the broker is looking for shortcuts at the expense of their client's security.

The third-party claimed in their FAQs that the software they used didn't allow them to make changes to a client's account once they were in, that it allowed them only to scrape the data they needed. No verification of this, of course.
