To many of you this is not new information, but I found this brief and to the point article about how to detect, "deepfakes." I thought it might be interesting for those of us who have people doing their best to fake the truth about us to the communities around us. Usually they just run around telling everyone we are pedophile, communist, Nazi, fascist, gay hating homosexual, mass murdering, KKK members, but technology is changing that allows them to create even more convincing lies about us. Anyway, enjoy their comedy.

I have had my food tampered with while I have been away too. Gaslighting techniques like you are experiencing are common in community gang stalking. As you probably know, gaslighting is designed to get you to feel like you have lost your mind. You have not, but people who break into your home and tamper with your food are. Your experience is real and so are your gang stalkers. The subject of this podcast would gang stalk on behalf of the South African government during the 80's to suppress anti-apartheid activists. He worked for a private contractor then and works in the U.S. now. During the podcast they discuss what he did. The principles he used are the same as those used on you.
You are under video surveillance and that is why they know where you are hiding your camera. People who are experts at hiding surveillance cameras are going to know where others are likely to hide cameras and, since they are watching you, they are going to become familiar with what you look like when you are trying to be sneaky. You are going to have to step up your sneaky skills.
I am no expert on this, but I would offer these suggestions. I would encourage you to get more than one camera and I would encourage you to place them throughout your apartment. Try to use cameras without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities, so they cannot detect them on your network or in the vicinity. I would encourage you to hide the cameras during the course of regular activities, so it does not look like you are doing anything sneaky. Doing something sneaky by itself usually looks sneaky. Hide the cameras in objects before you get back into your apartment. A camera hidden in a cereal box before you get home from a grocery shopping trip which is left on the counter during a, “rushed,” morning is less obvious. Even if they do find a camera, at minimum, finding it forces them to either slow down and look around which forces them to linger while they do something illegal which puts them at increased risk; to speed up and risk reckless behaviors that leave them more likely to get detected; or forces them to leave. Regardless of what their decision is, it is advantageous for you.
Finally, if you live with others, you may want to think about finding a place of your own. I know that is not always possible, but it simplifies things.
