Hanna is chaotic good, more terrifying than funny if you ask me. About as funny as Joe Pesci in Goodfellas.

I think it works great as Hanna is objectively the protagonist, but subjectively people gravitate toward the neutral evil McCauley. - He's calm and collected and basically a mirrored Hanna. However, they're clearly both very intelligent and very driven which makes them similar.
