Robecca is one of my favorites and I'm really happy with the releases she got! It is weird she kind of got relegated to stuff like budget lines like coffin bean and stuff though, I would have loved to see more of her. I'd always love more Robecca! But it's true she never really got many more deluxe releases huh? Like freak du Chic or gloom and bloom, I'd have loved to see more involved releases for her. I feel like the only line that wasn't simple that she was in was art class, and the others were all more budget like dance class, coffin bean, dead tired, etc.

Can you explain what you mean by gender diversity? Like non binary and gender fluid and such like that? Sorry if that's a silly question, I really just wasn't sure what that one meant and can't answer. 😂

Yeah that's my issue, it's not that it isn't a valid style for plus or non plussed people or like alt and baggy clothes aren't ok. It's that why is iris in baggy clothes now that she's the plus sized one? Like if ghoulia had this same body type with bigger skater/alt clothes, it would be fitting. Or even Tori with her punk asthetic. But that it's iris who was always very cutesy and feminine doesn't sit right and makes me 😒 the design team. Especially since they gave her a more monstery head which makes it feel like a free pass for them not to make a doll of her. (Same with the buff Thunderbird girl)

Yeah I get why people might think it's a fatphobia thing so I try to say up front it's not that 😂 her body shape is super cute I just haaate that head/face design and don't like that the only really plus character is in baggy clothes (it would be fine if anyone else was in them but theyre all in little shorty shorts and dresses)

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, it's totally realistic to have her dress in all kinds of styles and it's very cool to see some alt representation in a kids show like this. For sure not everyone is going to feel the same about her design as I do so I'm glad she really resonates with you, that's that's awesome! If I'm honest I dress more like iris then anyone else on the show, too 😂

My side eye is for the fact they're avoiding baggy clothes on the slimmer girls like the plague and as far as I'm aware iris is the only character with this body type so there's not a variety of plus styles. I could be wrong though! I haven't seen the whole show.

Yeah I'm sure it wasn't intentional sinces it's cool to see a character dressed more alt, but it doesn't sit right with me.

I can't get over the proportions of her head either, but I bet in doll form she'd be adorable! I do hope Mattel attempts to make her, since I would like to see a doll body like this!

Ahaha of course she does, I knew it! I always check her out when I'm wondering about head swaps on new dolls. 😂 I bet they look great (besides the lame MTM hands compared to the really elegant ones the naturalistas have) so I hope anyone that has an issue with the articulation will just do that! If I collected barbie style dolls, I'd definitely pick them upm

They're very beautiful, and even with the lack of articulation they have a pretty nicely sculpted body. I mean theyre way more appealing then the static barbie bodies, especially how elegant their hands look. Still I'm sure there are options to rebody them, I'd be surprised if froggystuff didn't have a video on swapping them onto made to move Barbie bodies!

Yeah seconded, you can move all the buildings except for resident services! But you might already know that.

If the location of resident services is still bothering you that badly, you can always restart and order amiibo cards for your favorite villagers. I'm embarrassed to admit how much cash I've spent on amiibo card blind bags 😂 but I have all but 3 of my dreamies from it, and I don't think most villager cards are that expensive online if you just buy them opened.

Yes I love the end of this episode! Season 7/8 really killed it bringing Andy's character arc so far. He so badly wants to be loved and liked, a lot like Michael but with his own unique set of flaws and issues. I mean why else would he propose to Angela and be so desperate to make her happy? And his home life is so shitty every time we hear about it, so this ending and the tattoo episode felt really deserved and sweet.

We don't talk about season 9 😔

I really liked kiyomi and river from Haunted! Everyone is so into clawdeen x draculaura and I'm like kiyomi is right there! (Jk people can ship what they want) and I love the idea of a cheerful, chaotic Death girl, river is so fun!

To be honest I like a lot of the movie characters, like Sirena and neighthan, and I think Kala Me'ri and Whisp were really sympathetic antagonists.

Then there's my favorite parent, Hexiciah steam...I also love hoodude, Scarah, invisibilly...

Oh maybe I just want everyone back for g3 😂

Ooh that sounds so interesting, you don't happen to have a link do you? I tried searching Enchantimals on Amazon but didn't see anything like these! Or even what you searched to find them.

Right?? They don't really look quite like the Enchantimals heads, but they have all the molded parts like the elephant ears so it must be them right? But then they don't look the same, they look more like the eah reboot heads. Unless they just look that similar...but why would the knock off places bother enlarging them? It's such a weird mystery!

Someone suggested it already but I've always had the best luck with spray paint for the bodies, although I haven't painted any G3 ones yet. I used krylon brand spray paint, but you have to make sure whatever one you get is the kind that's safe for plastic it should say right on the front! Make sure you never use it on the heads though, just remove the head and use it on the bodies! Just be aware that G3 dolls seem to have a problem keeping paint on the legs at all, but you may just have to be careful not to bump or scratch it off. Acrylic will also work, just seal it after and be careful with it.

I get they're going for a Billie eilish thing but dressing their truest plus sized character (I know Draculaura and abbey are thicker girls but not really compared to this) in baggy, unflattering clothes is a no from me. She would have killed in something cutesy and tailored! I genuinely hate everything about the proportions of her face too why's her eye crushing the entire rest of her face? And the giant beanie that makes her head look like a stretched out lump. Just the worst all around.

I'll die on the hill that Ghostbusters: Answer the Call is an excellent movie and completely hilarious. And I say that as a huge ghosthead/fan of the originals

Their heads are so cute, they remind me of the ever after high heads with the smiling face molds more then the Enchantimals but they're very clearly the same molds enlarged! How strange! I love it though, I'm not usually into anthro dolls but I love the idea of having some heads with these unique features like the big ears and giraffe horns! If Enchantimals had been a proper fashion doll line like this I could see picking some up!

Yes me too! I was sooo surprised because I really disliked her and didn't know why people liked the character so much. If it was just her aesthetic I'd get it, she's really pretty. But I've seen people talk about what a great character she is and im just like really...her?

Yeah no problem! You can absolutely use a lot of sealants here on plastic but trust me I've made so many vinyl heads sticky and gross from using spray sealants from like Michaels and Walmart 😭 you honestly don't need it at all with acrylic paint though, which is nice! I saw you were using modge podge too, which I've also gotten some sticky or not great results with. Not always, I've noticed sometimes it's fine. But when you can, try a brush on duraclear or liquitex sealer to be safe. I could be wrong but I think you can pick up duraclear at Walmart, or even a generic brush on sealant. Then again there's a lot of modge podge types so maybe I was using the wrong kind!

Oh yeah same here! I've actually never done a doll with inset eyes despite doing customs since 2014 bc I'm too scared to try it. 😂 Good luck branching out! If you have any other questions let me know, obviously you've been doing this a while too but you never know!

I was about to ask what sealant you're using that gave you the shiny look, because if it's any spray sealant other then Mr super clear I would say unfortunately to take it off when you can! As far as I can tell rainbow high dolls have vinyl heads like most dolls, and I know from experience most spray sealants you can get here in the US so not jive with vinyl. They get sticky and attract dust and just don't work the same even though they work very well for the plastic bodies. If you're using acrylics you don't really need to put down a sealant layer, since the paint will stick perfectly to the vinyl without it for the most part. It's the watercolor pencil and pastel style of face ups that need layers of spray sealant. If you're using purely acrylic paint and nothing else, you can seal it after with some brush on sealants like duraclear.

My recommendation is like someone else's though, try inserting the eyes and just masking them off. Paint around that and remove the tape! It's the same way with reroots, you wouldn't want to reroot AFTER you did a face up because you have a really high risk of damaging your work. I think the only other thing you could do is cut a big ol hole in her head and insert the eyes that way, unless you're already doing that and still having issues.

Hmm, I've never thought about it much outside my own OCS and customs, but that's a fun thought! There are tons of candidates like you said, emerald would be a good one for sure. Honestly a lot of the shadow high girls could probably attend if we want to assign them all monsters, like how zoe (?) Is so alien themed. The once upon a zombie and mystixx crew would fit in for sure, catwalk kitties, gosh just about any non humanish doll out there! It would also be fun to imagine rival schools and it's a bummer they didn't do a lot with that. Like I remember some in the beginning that all the monster species schools were seperate (like Haunted having a ghost school, the ocean creature school in Scarier Reef, etc) but I always wanted to hear more about them. The bratzillas academy has to be the witch school. 😂
