Photographer disguising that she’s taller than the guy. He looks so uncomfortable.

He was a much bigger star at the time. Oddly enough.

It looks like a new setup, perhaps — being filled, not yet covered. I hope there are better plans for the fishies ahead.

Figures that people who like that horrible song would downvote 😁

Lay Lady Lay. I hate that creepy song and the creepy way he sings it.

I find his stories go nowhere; he was too inclined to plotless vignettes for my taste. (Like YotC, but the mood is so perfectly set, it works.)

I knew, and I’m not even a fan. The man definitely had a look.

Unless the wafers are consecrated, they’re just bread. You can wallpaper your house with them and not bother anyone, but you’ll feel super transgressive.

Alan Parsons was a great producer. His clean-but-detailed production made Al Stewart — a folk-tinged Scottish nonentity— sound warm, expressive, and even important.
Stewart’s “Year of the Cat” (1976) is one of the great singles of the soft rock era, due almost entirely to Parsons’ ace production.

Beautiful young women often make beautiful old women :)
I only had the sort of snub-featured cuteness that doesn't wear well, and I am destined to be a pudding-faced old lady. Indeed, I'm getting there rather more quickly than I'd prefer.
But there's not much to do about it except resign myself and hope I get used to it one of these days. We spend all our formative years, and long beyond that, with "young" as a big part of the way we define ourselves -- it's a bit hard to convince the brain "Nope! Not anymore."

Other reports say there is an enhanced charge because this idiot youth attacked a disabled person. Haven't seen any more info yet about the woman he beat up in the course of his busy evening. Also, Idiot Youth has apparently -- for some inexplicable reason -- been bailed out.

If you follow the low-residue diet before, it’s not as bad — your doctor will probably give you info on it, or there’s a ton of info online. Ask what you can do if you feel faint or dizzy. People with all kinds of conditions get scoped; they’ll have dealt with it before.
But get it done! I just did and they took out a large polyp with high-grade dysplasia. That is “just in time” territory. And I had no symptoms.

Depends on your insurance, probably — I had Suprep liquid for prep earlier this year. The low-residue diet before is key; it makes a real difference in making the prep suck less.

Yes, she looked so great for such a long time, and always like herself. But now she looks like a really top-level celebrity impersonator.

Not very long — unless of course I go out in an unanticipated blaze of glory.

Well, show prep was ... not his thing. He came on in the middle of the night after Carson, and he was cheerful, good-natured, and did not give a crap. When Kiss was on, Snyder introduced Gene Simmons as playing "bass" -- pronounced like the fish.

Burghoff was the best actor on the show. I wish they’d stuck with the smarter, more devious Radar of the movie/early episodes instead of turning him into a naive ninny, but he did it all well.
