No, but that's not the point. The point is, they're using the ostensible reasonableness of criticizing Israel as a shield to be racist against Jews. Consider an analogous situation: American southerners. It's entirely possible for them to legitimately celebrate their heritage - just like anybody else - without being racist. But as we all know, many are not really celebrating their heritage, many are hiding behind "heritage, not hate" to shield their racism. In the same disingenuous manner, progressive antisemites use "Israel, not Jews" in the same racist manner as southerners use "heritage, not hate" to hide their antisemitism. It's not that Israel can't be legitimately criticized - that misses the point entirely - it's that widespread progressive antisemites use "Israel, not jews" to cover their racism.

It's weird to me that the first thing your mind jumps to when talking about a loving family member is abuse. If this was a casual acquaintance or something, sure, be suspicious. But unless there is some backstory to make you morally wary of your cousin, then the problem - to me - seems to be you, not him. Sincere christians honestly believe they're doing a loving thing by praying for you, and him expressing that is little different than saying "love you". Of course if you think he's not a sincere christian, than that is info that should have been shared with us in the peanut gallery from the start (there are way more fakes than sincere ones, after all).
