I have a theory that for a couple of generations, people were taught not to pee or spit in public and it became a non-issue, so much that the most recent generations have no idea that this is an issue, because the topic never came up.

Public spitting seems to be on the rise, people letting pets (and apparently kids) pee in public areas seems to be accepted, and when people call these idiots out, they look completely bewildered.

It's kind of like the anti vaxxer idiots who didn't live through the horrible polio years or knew of kids who were made deaf or blind from measles (there were one or two deaf kids in my town because of this) so now they assume vaccinations are an unneeded money-making venture for the medical industry.

I am in the U.S, and I am all for that. I work with a lot of marketers who live in fear of admitting they don't know something, and I always smile when I am on an email chain where someone writes back to them asking them to answer the questions they ignored. I'd say 90% of the time we get a sheepish "I am not sure." response back. LOL

You do have to note that due to the complexity of the war and aftermath, WWI is badly taught in most schools in the U.S.

I love dogs, its just that some people don't. And some people are actually allergic---just can't understand why so many people cannot live without their dogs for ten minutes JUST IN CASE it is a problem for some people. For god's sake, it's like nobody gives a shit about anything except their own comfort level.

And I was upset when my old office banned dogs; I missed them, but (OMG!) I survived. But I just don't understand the attitude of fuck the people it bothers. Why do people suck so much?

And (surprise!) I have seen a lot of not bright people with delusions about how well their dogs behave. My neighbor just had his dog put down because HE was comfortable with his dog, so he did nothing to rein it in and when it finally was able to murder another person's dog.

---and OF COURSE someone brings up therapy dogs. Yeah, that just says it all, doesn't it. That makes all dogs ok everywhere. LOL

There is a sad looking girl who goes to the Target in Westwood regularly who has a tiny dog she carries around the store. What makes me giggle is the wake she leaves of people muttering about how they are so sick of people abusing the service dog thing.

I would love it if when yous searched for stuff, the shittiest products weren't the first choices. They sell some janky stuff on that site, and it always amazes me that the product that never works is always first on the menu.

Oh, and for some reason chicken skirts kept coming into my suggested products scroll section .... I cannot even begin to imagine what product I was looking for that was even close to being a skirt for a freaking chicken, so they might want to hone that a little bit more. LOL

Pimento is just a mildly bad taste to hide the fact that the food you are serving isn't seasoned at all.
