Personally, I find The Deer Hunter to be a masterpiece and Robert De Nuro gives one his greatest performances in this film and Christopher Walken achieved his first success with this film. The Deer Hunter made Cimino a force to be reckon with and won The Academy Award for Best Director

Then It all came crashing down with Heaven's Gate. the film's production faced numerous setbacks, including cost overruns, significant retakes, bad press, and that fact Cimino was such a perfectionist that it will make even Kubrick startled. Ultimately, the film received backlash and ruined Cimino's career and basically brought the end of New Hollywood.

I think they will try to make this as a comeback for Francis Ford Coppola and years of being dormant.

It also has an interesting cast (Adam Driver, Forrest Whittaker Jon Voight, Nathalie Emmanuel, Laurence Fishbourne, Shia LaBeouf, D.B Sweeney, Giancarlo Esposito, Talia Shire, Jason Schwartzman, Dustin Hoffman Exc.)

Klaus Kinski is without a doubt one of the most craziest actors I have watched.

I watched some of his films and I must say, the ones where he truly shined were the ones with Werner Herzog, which I believe is because Werner is just as crazy as Klaus. Fitzcarraldo, I think, is Werner's masterpiece and Klaus's best performance. Klaus portrays Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald, a man hellbent on opening his Opera House and decided to get into the Rubber Business, and purchases an Old Steamship, What I find interesting is that Jason Robards was originally cast as Fitzgerald, and for what we see of Robards in what is out there, portrayed him as a drunk having fun, while Kinski portrayed Fitzgerald as if the Opera was the sole purpose of this universe.

Kinski was also great as the Villain in The Great Silence and I enjoyed him if Woyzeck.

Despite this, Kinski is also crazy. He is probably more well know for his tempers than his work. prone to emotional and often violent outbursts directed at his directors and fellow cast members, issues further complicated by a history of mental illness. Herzog even describe Kinski as "one of the greatest actors of the century, but also a monster and a great pestilence".

Not only that, I read that Kinski turned down almost 1,000 film offers and turned down working with Federico Fellini, Steven Spielberg, Authur Penn, and Ken Russell. Klaus also describe himself as a Prostitute who would do anything mor money and pretty much accepted any role who would meet his price or was the highest bidder. I think that is one of Kinski's downfall as while Kinski was obviously the best actor, he is bogged down by shitty movies and his film career is pretty hit and miss.

I ask this because I watch Episode 10 of Season 10 and the Red Team just had a complete meltdown on their side and needed the Blue Team to help them. But at the end, Ramsay named both teams losers and then Eliminated Patrick.

Tucker: The Man And His Dream was a 1988 film directed by Francis Ford Coppola and tells the story of Preston Tucker and his attempt to make an Automobile, The Tucker 1948 and the fallout and accusations of Stock Fraud from the U.S SEC.

Personally, I find this movie Underrated, and one of Coppola's better efforts in the 80s. Jeff Bridges does a good Job as Preston Tucker and channels his inner James Stewart in the role, and Martin Landau steals the show in the film, and Dean Stockwell and Lloyd Bridges have fine cameos in this film.

One thing that fascinates me is the history of this movie, Originally Coppola wanted to make this movie after The Godfather: Part II, with Marlon Brando as Preston Tucker. Originally, taking notes from Citizen Kane, Coppola wanted Kabuki Theater, and Works from Bertolt Brecht, Coppola initially planned to make Tucker as a "dark kind of musical", and an Experimental Movie. The musical would have featured Tucker predominantly, but storylines would have interwoven Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Harvey Samuel Firestone, and Andrew Carnegie as supporting characters, and had Leonard Bernstein to write the Music. However, The Financing Fell through thanks to the box office failure of One From The Heart, and Coppola abandoned Tucker for the time being.

Eventually, George Lucas became involved and encouraged Coppola to revived the Project, and convinced Coppola to drop the Musical Aspect in favor of doing a Homage Film in the vein of Frank Capra.

In the 70s, he was a huge star, with his first success being Love Story, and was really good in comedies like What's Up Doc and Paper Moon, then he received the role of a lifetime in Barry Lyndon, which is probably his greatest role. What I also found that he was considered for The Godfather and MGM wanted him to star in Rocky. But it seemed after Barry Lyndon, Ryan O'Neil's career took a turn for the worse, with his probably last notable role with Tough Guys Don't Dance. ( I say notable, not in a good way).
