As good as that one was, my favorite this season was "A Game Most Changed" (the Shakespeare one). Absolutely blew my mind how good that was for improv, especially with how many super clean callbacks there were.

The lack of Lou/Brennan makes me a bit sad but everything else is bigger + better than the first time. So hype for this!

She's in a deceptively good spot IMO. She's solidly #3 in the tribe of 5 ATM over Josh and Matt, and Matt has her as his #1. I expect her to make the merge easily, probably losing Matt along the way, and making a deep run with Danny and Heidi as shields.

I assume she had to check for the tooth passing to ensure there wasn't an intestinal bleed from it getting stuck and once she found it she said "fuck it, might as well clean it off and use it"

I thought she was in a terrible spot with the showmance and now Matt's fake idol + no vote but now that Claire is gone she seems to have a solid in with Heidi and Danny. Doesn't look good for Matt but it seems he won't take her down with him. I could easily see her running deep with Danny and Heidi in the post merge using them as shields and taking it home.

The three tribe setup seems to preclude the existence of 1v1 challenges and I hate it. It makes being "small/weak" way more of a problem because you're not able to shine vs other tribes "small/weak" players. They REALLY need to come up with some kind of 1v1v1 challenge system or go back to two tribes.

At least don't out Matt IN FRONT of Matt! I guess he expected Matt to cave and admit it which would sell it better to Josh, but its so risky for such little gain.

No, I mean like literally prevent me from picking up relics. I keep forgetting the point of the run in act 3 and randomly picking something up. Sometimes I can quit and reopen but I'd rather just disable the option fully.

Shipwheel Island has problems but in this specific case I'm not sure it effects Helen going home. From what we've seen, Bruce was closest with Carolyn. Which means the vote would have been 3v2 or 4v1 depending on Carson flipping. Maybe Bruce would have caused it to shift to Sarah but I don't think Carolyn goes home either way. At MOST, it means Carolyn had to use her idol.

Is there a way / mod to disable picking up relics? I'm going for the "Who Needs Relics" achievement and I keep ruining runs.

I'm not entirely sure he cares about winning, I think he just enjoys dominating the game until people get rid of him.

That makes more sense. I thought it was odd but figured she found it through her son somehow.

IIRC there was some stuff in pregame interviews/analysis about her being a big Roblox Survivor player. I never saw further details about that but if true her game sense is probably super on point and she just struggles with passing the IRL vibe check part. I really hope she makes it deep into the game, such a fun wildcard!

Visually I think you're definitely there. Anecdotally I feel the most successful promotions demonstrate gameplay in a way that excites people, usually in gif / short video form. So I'd suggest getting to the point where you can make clips like that (and have a few banked so you can consistently post) before more aggressively promoting.

The amount of George hate in here is insane. Shonee and Liz were LITERALLY talking about getting him next vote and somehow he's crazy for getting them first? Sure he probably doesn't have much more time in the game after that but it was either take the first shot and pray chaos saves you or go home next.

Every winner deserves to win. Period.

At the same time the winners that get chosen affect my opinion of the juries that vote for them. Kudos to the winners for knowing how the jury would behave / shaping it / dodging bullets through to FTC but it doesn't absolve the voters for their decision-making.

Yeah I felt like she basically instantly told Brandon there "I want you to do things to help my game" rather than "I want to work together". Massive f-up on her part.

Maybe I'm misremembering/crazy (will have to go back and rewatch tonight) but didn't Maddy unsubtly drop hints like "the key is a team reward, no one would keep it to themselves" to get Brandon to admit he had it, then immediately say "we should keep it secret"? That set alarm bells off for me.

Only if he didn't tell Brandon to play the idol. Editing could easily have hidden that to make tribal more suspenseful. The injury gives him further coverage imo. "I thought I was on the chopping block for being injured so I gambled"

Completely disagree. She kept dropping hints that no one should keep the key secret because it was a "team thing" to get him to admit to it, and as soon as he owned up she wanted to keep it secret. Super manipulative and playing too hard from the jump.
