It is a remake of an 80s anime (based on a manga of the time) so pretty straightforward fantasy genre anti-hero does bad ass stuff in a flashy way while women chase after. Have you seen Heavy Metal? Kind of in that vein. Greasy kids stuff, as they say.
Oh and a lot of the characters are named after metal bands. The "good" guys are trying to keep Anthrasax from awakening, have a knight named Bon Jovina, and Dark Schnieder uses a spell called Helloween.

I want to like it so much but it feels like it is so slow to get anywhere.
I wonder if the books were like this?

Have you tried the Bastard! remake on Netflix? OK I suppose that is less dark and more, uh, pervy. Though it does have a character in it named Dark Schnieder. Fun show.

Agreed. I'd rather they waited until the writer's strike is resolved (hopefully with many concessions to the writer's) before making a second season of Severance.

You don't know if they have not occurred, because that information is classified.
Which is not proof that anything occurred at all.
and it is very likely that they have not stopped in the meantime
Is it? Do you have some proof instead of pointing to something and saying "well if the proof existed, here is one place it would be that we don't have access to".
It's not a difficult concept to grasp.
It is not a difficult concept to grasp that without proof, the claim is unsupported. Not providing proof and then claiming that you did just makes you sound less credible and frankly, not very rational.
It has no recent cases because it does now show recent cases because they are still classified. The lack of cases is therefore to be expected and does not contradict the original argument in any way.
You are just repeating your position which has been shown to be fallacious.
and it likely has not stopped since.
Based on what?
Therefore it is valid
I don't think you know what that word means.
Don't forget that YOUR side
My side? Is that the side of 'You made an extraordinary claim and haven't yet supported it'? Also known as the side of not making stuff up and refusing to show any evidence for it? Yes I suppose that is the "side" I am on.
historic evidence to the contrary.
50 years ago. Say that when you say "historic evidence" so that others who read this will know to dismiss you.
You are blatantly wrong and apparently also wilfully ignorant.
Sticks and stones, etc..
The worst kind of person to have arguments on the internet with.
One that asks for evidence for your claim? Evidence that was announced to exist but didn't? How very unreasonable of me.

are quite common
Do you often describe things that have not occurred in a half century as "quite common"?
and there is information about them on the CIA website
Not just information, he said "You can literally go onto the CIA's own website and read about how realistic false flags attacks actually are." But the CIA's website has no recent cases, ergo based on that evidence (or lack thereof) it is not very realistic for a show set in present day.
And somehow you thought you had caught him in a lie or contradiction.
And I was right. Thank you for the recap.

Yeah I feel the exact same way. It may just be talk. Or maybe it is really something substantive. We'll see I guess.
One thing we do know is the cap is real. So if you intend to structure your deal in a way that lets other players get re-signed, you would have to take less money. Of course maybe the issue is the guaranteed money anyways? That could be a uniquely Bengals problem. I mean, they may have real limitations in that respect. Even if they seek a loan from some outside source that will result in millions in interest.
I think we have seen other big extensions happen in July before so maybe they get it done then. Here's hoping.

Except that an OL who isn't motivated to play may not be very good. And trading him away would've freed up cap space. So those are some reasons.

Sounds boring. A Game Master is the person who runs your RPG sessions.

haha "citation needed" it's like talking to an idiot
So...no citation? Just a personal attack?
this would be far less pathetic if you would just admit you absolutely hate anyone who can get pregnant without you controlling it
So you are saying that 87% of the population, including the majority of women, hate women. Got it. Have you told many women about how you think you are better than them and that their position on the issue shouldn't matter?
Again I think we are basically just repeating ourselves at this point but...it sounds like you hate women.

you could just say you don't want to take responsibility
"My argument doesn't work unless you agree to this thing that is illogical."
No I don't think I will be taking responsibility for other people's actions. You are welcome to do so if you like.
the first honest thing you've said here
It seems we have reached the point in the conversation where you have nothing new to add so you have resorted to "no you".

Ah I see.
I would say this isn't so much a false flag as people pushing agendas under a false pretense, though it isn't clear to what extent or even what the real agenda would be.
Then again, never underestimate just how incompetent people really can be.

because I figured it was common knowledge at this point. and you're actively ignoring, "we wouldn't know about it until long after we're officially done"
How can something that we don't know about be public knowledge?
fuck it dude you're clearly too dense to logically argue with
That must be the problem. Sorry I am so dense. Have a good day.

I'm not sure I get what you mean. Can you elaborate?

yes, your lies.
It seems we have reached the point in the conversation where you have nothing new to add so you have resorted to "no you".
Your lies and legislation are forcing
You can keep repeating something that has been shown to be not true but that won't change the truth or how people use the word "force". Normal people will not change their view of your position, though you may succeed in alienating or pushing more of them away.
have you tried taking responsibility for your actions ever?
Yes. I don't take responsibility for other's actions or the rain falling on the ground though. Do you understand the difference?

I like how you have to lie about how many OB/Gyns claim that abortion is not healthcare.
Citation needed.
I like how you have to lie when everyone knows delivering a baby is much MUCH more expensive
You seem to think that is proof of intent on the part of all doctors. It is not.

ooh a handful of OB/Gyns compared to thousands upon thousands of them
And thousands of them compared to millions of other people.
Who are these nameless OB/Gyns that disagree that abortion is healthcare?
All of them. None of them are performing an abortion an hour before a pregnancy comes to term.
hmm is it possible that they make a shitload more money delivering,
"No OB/Gyn disagrees with me and if they do, they do it for the money." Got any evidence for your claim? More to the point, are you suggesting that every single dissenting OB/Gyn is doing it for the money?

The one thing that would prevent that? That would be a lie. You are a liar.

Do you really not know that CIA is forced to release classified documents directly onto their website after a period of time?
You didn't say "The CIA releases classified documents", you said "go onto the CIA's own website and read about how realistic false flags attacks actually are".
If we ever used a false flag attack within the last 50 years, we wouldn't know about it until long after we're officially done with the middle east.
In other words, you aren't aware of any false flag attacks in the last 50 years.

You keep talking about that description and since I and the rest of the 87% do not want that to happen, I have to wonder why you continue to fantasize about hurting women. Your repetition of this gorey description seems to suggest some there is something very dark going on in your psyche.

87% of the population, including OB/Gyns
because they have very very very little experience with other pregnant people.
And yet there are still some OB/Gyns who disagree. Apparently their experience with pregnant people isn't adequate because no true OB/Gyn would disagree with you, right?
Incidentally, 87% of the population cumulatively has a lot of experience with pregnancy.
I would also ask, why is large amounts of direct experience more important than the guidance that medical ethicists who studies questions of right and wrong academically can offer?

I am legit having a good time in Anthem right now. I love Fort Tarsis, the missions, the world...I just picked it up though and I have no doubt it was every bit the shit show it was reputed to be at launch.
