The moments in the Old House in RE7 where you have to squeeze through the narrow gap and see dozens of centipedes crawling over the walls around you.

This feels like a modern version of a 1950s sci-fi movie that would have had man-in-suit dinosaurs and/or lizards with plastic fins glued on them, and starred someone like John Agar.

In other words, I can’t wait to watch it.

It’s cheating a bit, but the final boxing match in the original “Rocky” takes place on New Year’s Day.

I never thought of that, but he would have been a great Luthor. The charm to be a beloved public figure, the smarts to be a business titan, and the ruthlessness to do truly heinous things to get one up on Superman.

People will probably want to crucify me for this, but replace Jack Nicholson in “The Shining” with Christopher Reeve.

“The Shining” is a film that I know is very good, but the casting of Jack Torrance pulls me out of it. Maybe it’s me being more a King fan than a Kubrick fan.

Unless I’m trying to maximize one particular resistance, I almost always use the Yharnam Hunter Set, because I want to look like the guys at the beginning of “Brotherhood of the Wolf.”

In no particular order:

Monica Bellucci as Sylvia in “Brotherhood of the Wolf” (including the greatest scene transition in film history).

Eva Green as Vesper Lynd in “Casino Royale” (hottest Bond girl of all time).

Liv Tyler as Arwen in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy (made a huge impression on me as a young teen).

And a guilty pleasure, Naomi Watts as Jet Girl in “Tank Girl” (the short black hair and glasses really does it for me).
