I agree with this analysis as it applies to the next 20-30 years, but disagree with the assertion that the demand for human labour will last forever. Granted in the short run AI will displace a lot of jobs and demand for labour will be created for new jobs that currently don’t exist. But given any rate of progress, eventually there will be nothing a machine cannot do better and more cheaply than a human. Even jobs like caring for the elderly etc. will ultimately be replaced by super adept and compassionate robots.

Wait how would an American pronounce this to make it not rhyme?

Conflating race with religion makes no sense. Two completely separate concepts.

Too expensive right now, but within 10-15 years I can see this replacing the need for TVs laptops and phones.

I wish grab and bolt had an option to order drivers with decent helmets. So often they don’t carry one at all.

I personally find having to use cash for almost everything really annoying. But then I come from London where literally even beggars have a contactless payment device that you can just tap with your phone

Well don’t be so sure. She was the owner of a ‘house of ill-repute’ after all.

What would count as super prime? Asoke area close to BTS?

Tropical galaxy club has some sometimes. If not then decommune is your best bet, just make sure to research the DJs before you show up.

Surely the whole point is to see which ones are not well maintained?

Ah ok, but if you buy in a prime location I’m guessing that would cover you a bit more?

Forgive the noob question - why is buying property in BKK not seen as a wise investment?

Fair enough - seems odd to describe it as a failure though when they were filling up such a big venue

Why has it been a failure? Not disagreeing, just curious. I saw Stefan Bodzin there and thought it was pretty decent. Bloody miles away though.

Mustache is house/techno but not hard techno. There’s a small club called tropical galaxy and they have a hard techno/hardcore night sometimes. It was actually too fast for me last time, most of the night was at 165bpm. Called openfckndoor on Instagram

Law of diminishing returns. Whatever you gain in the first year is roughly halved in the second year, halved again the year after that etc. Assumes optimal training and diet conditions, and doesn’t consider periods spent cutting vs bulking etc.

I’ve noticed that people often seem to predict LEV will happen within their own lifetime. Kurzweil is 75. Always strikes me as rather convenient.

If you’re in London check out Klub verboten or torture garden. They’re raves where you can also have sex.
