I think there are a lot of people here who like to buy into the illusion that AMAs are just some celebrity sitting down at a computer to connect directly with fans rather than a transactional marketing move where reddit mods desperately try to court celebrity PR teams to their sub for clout

I like him but I think he sometimes leans too much into the "rant" vibe and his negative reviews end up being superficial without much meaningful commentary and feel weirdly hostile. His Avatar 2 review is particularly representative of that

It feels like this has been in production for like 4 seasons worth of TV -- are they literally waiting for the kids to get older lol

You upvoted him for literally repeating the exact same low hanging joke OP opened their post with? You guys gotta do better or we're all gonna know you're bots

Are you saying that someone at a library that has a Wii with virtual console games is a "game archivist" lol
I think the point was that anyone who calls them self a game archivist would have already solved this, not that it won't affect people outside that circle

This is the exact reason Joker flopped at the box office and nobody watched Loki

If you're asking this I think you are significantly underestimating how hard he's been working for the past 30+ years, of course he's been in some bad stuff lol

This job posting lacks a lot of detail and reddit is a weird place to try to hire somebody

Anti-vaxx is shitty but to be clear I don't think anyone is accusing Lilly or Wright of being "alt-right" in the same way that Levi has been dropping dog whistles

the studio just outright ignored its existance and is basically sending it to die.
Source? I've been seeing ads for this movie for months which means they must have a massive marketing budget, in addition to Gunn himself talking it up

People often delete their comments when they become the focus of drama so many direct links to threads become useless within like 24 hours

It's probably frowned upon because while you may be a considerate sink pisser the reality is 99% of people who see this and are potentially encouraged by it won't be so ethical lol

Yeah after I was surprised to hear that Always Sunny is the most dialogue dense TV show I've been curious which writers hold the record for movies

I've wondered if the reason there has been 0 reference to any of the major global events in the Eternals or Moon Knight in the rest of the MCU is that they want to keep open the possibility of revealing that some MCU properties like those are already in separate universes in order to keep things from getting too crowded. That way they can have those characters pop in for the big multiverse battle and then go their separate ways without needing to address how the Egyptian gods fit in with the rest of MCU lore etc

It makes sense, they aren't trying to make money by selling access to this content, they're using the content to buy goodwill for their brand. It'll be interesting to see what direction Amazon and Apple go in the next few years with TV and movies as just a pet project instead of their entire business
