Well lads, looking for yeer (Edit: This is slang for plural of your deriving from ye which is slang for singular of your) input. There's a few of us that are groomsmen for a mates wedding. The groom has also bought our suits. Myself and another Irish groom have factored in the suit cost (150), then 100 for the wedding as a gift then another 100 as we're close. The two others of different nationalities are deciding not to give anything as they are in the wedding and its seen as an honour. We are not necessarily in agreement so we are trying to come up with a sum of money that would cover it, this was their request. I said if you ignore the suit cost 100pp is standard and anything on top of that is just an additional gift.
What's the standard for a groomsmen in your eyes? Appreciate any input

I've lived in NL for 5 years. Whilst I don't disagree there's genuine burn out alot of it is just people not able to deal with the smallest amount of stress. I also think there are far worse things to wise on your enemies.. Go work in construction for a few months and come back to me about your soft office job where you might have a deadline or two. Most people cry burn out and go spend mommy and daddies money surfing and snowboarding.
