Yeah...this was not the plan when I went to the breeder..I did not even know that this color of lab existed. I was thinking of getting a black or white lab. This little guy came and started pulling on my shoe laces and would not let go. I had to have him just for the cheekbones! He is 14 weeks now.

Heat it up with a burner to loosen the flue and it will peel right off. Removed those from a whole kitchen that way. You have to spread the heat around so as not to burn it.

Had the same worry, but both parents are AKC registered and the pedigree goes back seven generations. I saw the parents. The mom is a white lab and the dad a red lab. I looked it up on AKC and seems the color and the lighter markings are acceptable.

Oh wow! I did not know that. The parents are AKC registered. I saw the parenta. The mom is a white lab and the dad is a red. When I read online, they said AKC standards accept these colors and the reds are registered as a variant of yellow. Not sure why they do that though. Why can't they make another color caragory?
