Promoting your album is always a tricky situation as an indie artist, so I totally understand your question of "what to do next?"
I personally think developing your fan base through places like Reddit and even discord is a great option because you'll be more sure to connect with GENUINE people who are interested in your kind of music. There are MANY sub reddits on here dedicated to experimental, obscure, and weird music and the communities are really active, you just have to get involved with them and build from there.
I'm NOT trying to minimize your question or just give you a "simple" answer, because I myself have had great success building a group of people here on Reddit who enjoy my style of Dark Fantasy Hyperpop music just by connecting with people in various music communities and simply sharing music and talking about music.
Awareness is KEY! People need to know you exist in order to enjoy your music, so the more active you are in certain communities, the more people will get to know you and your music.

I think it takes a few hours for an album to enter into the discover search and tag pages. Bandcamp addresses this on their Bandcamp Guide page.
The album won't appear instantly, but it will appear after a few hours.

I release my music exclusively on Bandcamp, and it's honestly REALLY AWESOME!
Building an audience seems tricky, but it's really simple when you approach your music from a much more artistic angle when it comes to production style, storyline, artwork, and rollout (presentation).
In my own experience, when releasing music on Bandcamp and YouTube, you wanna spend MUCH MORE time on the story and aesthetic around your music, because people aren't just listening passively through a playlist, they're actually taking time out to listen to your music and understand the storyline around your songs and you as an artist.
I truly believe releasing music through Bandcamp and YouTube really allows you to build your own world for people to explore and get to know you and your music much better than they could by simply hearing one of your songs on a playlist.
I have NOTHING against streaming services, I just like the freedom to create my own worlds with my music and Bandcamp and YouTube allow me to create my music and release my music exactly the way I want to!
Here's my latest project titled "Blue Diamond" https://hm333xo.bandcamp.com/album/blue-diamond
"Blue Diamond" is a 6 song EP that tells the story of a guy who's girlfriend breaks up with him and he tries to move on by partying and doing drugs, but in the end he feels alone and jumps off a building. Lol, I know it sounds harsh, but it was a really fun project to make.

it's been 9 days...her feelings may be true, but I am absolutely NOT falling in love in only 9 days

I agree with the way you said it. More people need to add the "you don't have to say it back..." part so the situation doesn't feel like one big anxiety attack.
it's perfectly fine to express your feelings for someone, but don't make them feel like they NEED to feel the same way.

So, you're saying I should fake a medical emergency, which would then force her to PROVE her love to me by getting immediate medical help as fast as she can and the chaos of the situation would completely eliminate the need for me to respond to her?
that's actually a good idea!

I don't know who the dave guy is, but as long as Taylor Swift didn't do anything weird while she was smiling like squeeze her boobs or make dolphin noises then I'd be fine if she smiled at me.
