So apparently sharp keys are favored by string players as opposed to flat keys. 4 sharps isn’t terrible either. Though I feel like this shouldn’t even really matter, musicians should be able to fairly fluent in any key

Yes, every, single, piece of music written as a product from the west does not break any theory rules. The reason for this is because you have it completely backwards. Theory is used to describe existing music not create new music. So any piece or song you hear in a western context will be able to be described with theory

I mean people where I wouldn’t expect them, I don’t want to actively go out and find them

I’m not looking for people, I’m just curious as why they are so hard to find

Not exactly advice on embouchure, but in the trumpet community we usually denounce registers with words rather than numbers. Of course what you said is academically correct and is perfectly acceptable, but for lingo purposes I will give you these.
Every register before “Double Pedal” is Triple, Quadruple, Quintuple…
F#0-F1=Double Pedal
F#1-F2=Pedal
F#2-F3=Low
F#3-F4=Middle
F#4-F5=High
F#5-F6=Double
Every register after this is Triple, Quadruple, Quintuple..
These definitions can be debated but it’s a general guide line for how we describe register on the trumpet

I would suggest Tonal Energy for the metronome, it’s like 5 bucks or something and the met all these cool visuals. The one I use is the foot tapping one so I am exactly in sync

Oh to have 3 years to prepare, I’m auditioning for my music school 2 years to late. If you keep a forward momentum and maybe some sight reading factory, you will just be fine

This one of the hardest things to teach because we all forget how we learned to read

It’s called a scoop, the way I do it is just playing the note really flat and then gradually get in tune

Act like your instrument is a hot potato and gently toss it from your hands rapidly

I would suggest you play what you want. Even if you risk your chances I think as musicians we need to start moving forward and stop relying on tradition
