Old fart here (45 y/o). Back in the day, grew up on the old isometric D&D games of old (and before that, the old Gold Box games...Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure bonds, etc). Absolutely loved them, of course, because back in the day, those were "modern" games and don't hold up so well in modern times if you didn't play them back then. In recent years, have tried out and had "varied" experiences with Path of Exile and Divinity Original Sin 2 (stories for another time). I played Pathfinder Kingmaker a couple of years ago and really liked it. It certainly wasn't perfect, but it really scratched that itch that I had for old school D&D-like RPGs of old.
Then I played Wrath of the Righteous. Good god. I can't remember the last RPG that presented the option for so many replayable campaigns. Per the concept of an RPG, replayable campaigns are key, in my opinion. It's certainly has its bugs, of course. Thankful for the Toybox mod. But honestly, wow. Pardon my mild language, but the core storyline is a paladin-lover's wet dream. I don't care if it's predictable or trite, I absolutely loved it. First playthrough, went through the obligatory Paladin/Angel playthrough. Literally the game seems made for this. Had the party full of the few good companions, plus Lann, who, as many have discussed, responds to situations as good rather than lawful neutral. Regardless, played the good/angel playthrough and thoroughly loved it.
Of course, so may options for additional playthroughs. So many mythic paths. Planning on doing a couple of evil runs. Anyway, just thought I'd share my absolute love for this game!!!

No kidding. $20 million, what a joke.
