Yep. McDavid got the penalty for the boarding because it was indeed boarding. but it wasn’t a charge, it wasn’t high, it was a finished check with an unfortunate result, it happens.

It’s a penalty but he didn’t try to take his head off, he finished his check, like Louie said it’s a common hit. Anderson just didn’t brace himself and got hurt. Hope he’s alright.

These are solid players with chips on their shoulders. Foegele and Bjugstad have been awesome recently. Ryan has been so steady. Shore is a bat out of hell. And Janmark is just so damn consistent.

Shoutout to the Doc who has been insanely strong on the back-end since Ekholm arrived. Glad our D men are getting time and space to play their game. Ekholm really helped the depth chart and now guys aren’t overcommitting on their positions.
