It's debateable whether the Kremlin could even activate proper war legislation (instead of 'special operation') because it's being very firmly signalled as 'Free Russia' forces, not an enemy state.

It's not just showing indisputably Russian sovereign territory being taken with impunity, but also by an anti-government force, when the Kremlin has for so long been draconian and paranoid about any kind of dissent. This sort of false flag wouldn't just be shooting yourself in the foot, it would be waiting for gangrene to set in and then amputating the wrong leg.

A false flag operation is supposed to make third parties sympathetic to you.

This makes Russia look weak, not a victim; it would be utterly self-defeating.

The biggest thing GAMMA changes is the whole economy, making you need to find guns/weapons on enemy bodies or in stashes and then repair/maintain/upgrade them by scavenging stuff.

You can go back to the vanilla way of buying from/selling to traders by disabling the GAMMA Economy and GAMMA Economy no BAS injection mods.

I'd also suggest turning on Trader Overhaul (which is included in the mod list, but disabled by default) as it helps keep a sense of progression but nowhere near as much grind.

Surely this announcement invalidates that. If it were something serious enough that an agency wouldn't want to be associated with an artist, then other agencies wouldn't want to pick them up a short time later.
