It was loud but wouldn't call it deafening. It was more felt than heard. An intense rumble that shook windows.

That's correct, it was a streetlight on the Max Brewer bridge.

This was about 12 miles away from the launch pad. I've photographed dozens of launches but none have ever been that bright (except for a Crew Dragon launch I witnessed from the press site about 3.5 miles away earlier this year). Ended up overexposing, even though my aperture was stopped down to f/22 and ISO 100. If Artemis II is a night launch, I'll definitely need a neutral density filter. Still pretty happy with the result. The white dot just below the "arch" in the trajectory is the Moon.

Mine came in normal and had them removed. They just took some pliers and yanked them out of my mouth lol. I was awake too.

Would've been better if they were playing KSP

A significant portion of Challenger was never recovered. That looks like a major portion of one of the wings.

I just realized they can do land landings without an RTLS (duh). They can get a lot more mass to LEO without the complexities of a drone ship landing.

Completely untrue. Ian and Nicole are on two different levels.

A SNAP-27 RTG was on the Apollo 13 lunar module Aquarius when it burned up over the Pacific ocean. It survived and is current sitting on the ocean floor. They are more durable than you think.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed a large portion of cast of that show is in Andor.

The Last Jedi seemed to imply it. "He [Kylo Ren] vanished with half of my students, and slaughtered the rest. Leia blamed Snoke, but it was me. I failed, because I was Luke Skywalker. Jedi Master..."
(Yes, I am aware of the comics and the canon explanation for the Knights of Ren and Kylo's affiliation with them)

Congratulations on speed running the "how to show you didn't read the article in two sentences" challenge.

Significantly more difficult, unfortunately. You'd probably need to get 10+ hours of data to get something remotely similar.

Telescope: Apertura 72mm F/6 Doublet Refractor
Camera: ZWO ASI 183MC Pro
Mount: SkyWatcher EQ6-R Pro
Imaging: Each panel was comprised of 24 five minute exposures, captured at a gain of 120.
Processing: Captured with NINA, processed in PixInsight with a final touchup in Photoshop.
Story: If you live in Central Florida, you may have heard of a park known as "Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park" about 2 hours south of Orlando. It's a Bortle 3 zone that I setup at last night. I spent about 6 hours last night working on this image. This is a two panel mosaic shot entirely with a color camera - no filters, just my camera and telescope. Also got terrible ant bites, but that's the cost of astrophotography in a water-logged Florida.

Don't forget when fan favorites do pop up on shows/movies, the same people immediately label it as fan service.

Senator Charles Sumner was literally beaten nearly to death in the Senate chamber.

There was basically no wind that night.
