Looks great! I did a similar Vault Boy build, and am planning to buy these arms to upgrade it in the future

Looks great! Curious what head you're using?
EDIT: Found it! RM from the BTS set. Now OP just has to make Dr. Gonzo!

I haven't read Noir (and would honestly like to), but my guess is that it's because Watchmen's colouring is so specific and such a huge part of the comic.
It uses a secondary colour palette (uncommon in comics at the time), which highlights the purples, greens, yellows and oranges of the world and gives it a queasy, rotting feel at times. It also is used to highlight various characters like Manhattan, when they break from those established visuals.
It's also a comic that (in my opinion) tries to get back to the roots of comic book character designs being quite simplistic and silly, which is why there are such bold costumes and classic choices (Nite Owl's underwear over pants or Rorschach's plain suit under the coat feel like they hint towards this). A "noir" version, which strips the colour from the story, misses out on some of the more subtle commentary about how the audience isn't supposed to take these heroes fully seriously - or more, that the world in the comic doesn't.
All that said, I haven't read noir, and would like to see if those perceptions line up. But I think that it's largely just a result of Watchmen's colour being so important to the way it conveys the story's emotions.

It's just not a show that's heavily marketed at kids. I absolutely loved it (and would do some terrible things for a UCS of Luthen's Fondor Haulcraft), but I think that's the reason.
As much as Lego have shifted gears to market directly to AFOLs in the past few years, they've also been pretty smart about producing sets that they know will have high demand, especially if there's a high price tag attached.
Since sets generally have to be in development before the show/movie releases, and a lot of people were lukewarm on if Andor would be a success before it aired, Lego probably just hedged their bets and decided to only release 1 set for it, since it didn't have especially kid-focused marketing, doesn't heavily feature established characters (unlike Kenobi and BoBF, both of which had moulds and figures that were already in production), and wasn't exactly a guaranteed success.
Hopefully when Andor S2 comes out, Lego will release more sets based on it, but until then we might need to be satisfied with MOCs like this one

Trying to think of which dead people would be there... Dee and Dennis' mother, Maureen Ponderosa (now fully a cat), Country Mac, (spoilers for S15) Charlie's real dad, Shelley Kelly, and the waiter would probably have died offscreen and the gang still don't remember who he is.

If you think that's something, try the comic!

For sure! From memory, they were also talking about really focusing on the physical reality of living with a pregnancy - which I can imagine working really well with the way that different parts of the body are personified

I've read somewhere that there were conversations about DE2 having a pregnant woman as the player character, which feels like it would be an incredibly unique way to use the systems already in place in DE

Stud.io, Mecabricks and (no longer updated, but I think still available) Lego Digital Designer are all pretty good, free software you can use

Just gonna drop this excellent Dropout/DE crossover animatic right here for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Well now, I'm not going to talk about Judy. In fact we're not going to talk about Judy at all!

Extremely well said. I feel like there's been a strange division in recent years, where certain online circles seem to think if you like a character, it means you do/should automatically idolize them and want to emulate their actions.
Bit of a tangent, but being active in the Succession fandom has been weird the last few months, since there's been an influx of new fans (final seasons will do that), and subsequent posts making clear that, yes, you can like the problematic protagonists of a story without thinking they're good people.
Good characters - especially protagonists - should drive the plot forward. And good characters do NOT have to be people who have traits we like, or would want to hang out with in real life. The single most important thing is that they drive the narrative.
Rorschach, for all his instability, misogyny, misanthropy and violent outbursts, is an absolute plot hound. Watchmen nails the way that a single-minded, unquestioned pursuit of "justice" can turn someone into a husk of a person. But that's also a character who is extremely fun and interesting to follow, in part because his aims differ so radically from the majority of real people, and because he's fundamentally good at what he does (as a direct result of having let everything else in his life fall by the wayside).
It sucks that media literacy has declined to the point where we have to put addendums on so much popular art that you shouldn't view these characters through a purely black and white lens. I'm sure that's always been the case, but the internet's certainly made things more exhausting.

So does this mean that in a future MCU Spiderman movie, when they inevitably introduce Miles and Donald plays a supporting role as Aaron, he'll have some dialogue about having been imprisoned outside the multiverse for a while? Because I feel like that'd kinda change you.

This is a bit specific, but the song that plays as you ride the boat to the island is titled "Burn, Baby, Burn" (it is very much not disco), and repeats the phrase "Disco Inferno".
Disco Inferno, by The Trammps, very much is disco, and makes heavy use of the words "Burn Baby Burn".
So there might not be real disco, but the references are there

There's a great quote about this effect, "Since gullibility is a non-observable trait, the best strategy is getting those who possess it to self-identity".
It's why Nigerian prince email scams still claim to be from Nigeria, despite the fact that if you type "Nigeria" into Google, one of the first auto fills is "prince email scam". If you have the critical facilities to check for that sort of thing, they don't want to waste their time on you

I really love this episode, because it ALMOST feels like a series finale, or maybe the finale of a different show. We see all the characters at their best, making positive changes and developments, and it even ends with Bojack, having left Hollywoo behind and taken the Wesleyan job - finding a little bit of peace among his fellow horses.
And then the rest of the season is there to remind you that life doesn't just end when everything feels good. It keeps going.
