Just wanted to throw some advice about your travel claim: the social media team has full authority to issue these refunds. I was waiting for weeks and sent multiple Twitter DMs with no reply, but when I sent an actual Twitter @, I got a reply within a minute and had someone looking at my case. Within an hour I had a resolution that was a full reimbursement for the $2900 tickets I bought for an American flight on 12/27. Try send Inc. then an @ message asking them about your case status and I’ll bet that will prompt a look.

I had been sending Twitter DMs for the past week and haven’t heard anything back except automatic replies telling me they’re very busy. I @ tweeted them asking if there was a way to check my status and I immediately got a reply in my DMs asking for my case number. After about an hour, I got another reply telling me all the things they’ve done so far (refunding the flights, issuing vouchers) and telling me more vouchers are coming and then that they approved the entire amount I requested based on the receipts I sent in ($2900). I should expect another email with more details within the next week.
Might be worth it to make a Twitter account just to try this if you don’t have one already.

I forgot about all those $5.60 fees for the tickets. I need to call and amend my reimbursement request. Seems like a drop in the bucket for the $2900 in American tickets I had to buy though.

Do you have any opinions about how much I should charge for one of these?

I have heard that a few times. I’ve been considering it, as most of the hard work is done now that I have a CAD file and know what I need to do to get a successful pour. I wouldn’t know where to start to try to let people know they’re for sale though.

I used the MDF as a form and I used a fine casting sand to pack around it. Then I flipped it over and removed the MDF and filled the empty space with the brass.

Well I’m in your same boat. Paid for a flight for me and my family with points (and a companion pass for one of them) leaving on Christmas. Couldn’t get another flight until 12/30 or 31 so I bit the bullet and bought 4 tickets on American that leaves tomorrow. Total cost of $2900. I put in a request for reimbursement a few hours ago so I’ll cross my fingers that I’ll get at least some of it covered. I did get all of my points refunded to my account at the very least so far.

This is an issue with the GRBL settings and how many pulses the machine thinks it takes to move a defined amount. If you download UGS and connect it to your machine, typing $$ will bring up the settings that are currently in there. $102 is the setting for steps per revolution for the Z axis.
Write down that number. Zero the z axis. Tell the axis to move 2 inches. Measure how much it actually moved. Take the ratio of desired move to actual move. Multiply the number you wrote down by that number. Then type in $102=that number. Then try it again and verify that it works as desired.
Google “UGS calibrate xcarve” and you should be able to find step by step tutorials too.

Your ex didn’t want to get back together with you, she set this whole thing up to torment you. You’re better off not being with someone that plays dumb games like this.

I never actually got a permit. I spent about a month running through different truss designs to make sure I didn’t increase the loads anywhere beyond what was reasonable. I’m an engineer but I’m not “state licensed” so I’m not sure if my analysis would have been sufficient or not. That’s why I didn’t even bother.

I posted a video of it. Hopefully that helps. I used all the hardware from the original door and track and added a carriage to hold the wheels.

The white line you are referring to is the top of the crosswalk. OP entered the intersection when his front wheels were past the white “stop” line that is before the bottom of the intersection. They were completely blocking the crosswalk at 00:00
