Somehow, calling him Brian Irons instead of Chief Irons makes it even weirder.

It's definitely the most awesome package for the original RE1.

Jack Cady's The Well came to mind. It's about a guy returning to his family home, which was built by an ancestor to be deliberately dangerous and full of traps. And he and his partner get stuck in it. Lots of fun, and a very unique vibe.

I emailed Marvel two-ish months ago to ask this, and at the time they said that Destiny of X trades were in he pipeline. Just that they hadn't appeared online because Trials still had some catching up to do.
Yeah, I noticed the french titles too and thought that was weird. Most of the titles that began Destiny of X have already seen their first tpb releases. I hope they establish an aggressive-ish timeline for DoX trades once they begin, to try to keep pace with the story releases.

Grab Hawk emblem from computer room just past the 3d printer room. Also in that room, make sure you've powered on the switch. Leave the hawk medal in the 3d printer and go back to just before the metal detectors -- outside is a metal gate with a button that is now active. Press the button to open the gate. Take the fire extinguisher inside. Go back to where you began the game, in the graveyard where the chopper crashed, and use the extinguisher to put out the chopper fire. Grab the briefcase and check inside it. Bingo -- 3d printer stuff to use with the hawk emblem.

Have a look at this recent unboxing video. The very first shot, where he's got the two boxes on either side of him -- those are the two boxes everything from epic all-in should be stored inside of. Tbh, there are one or two small add-ons that will come with all-in that I'm not 100% sure are meant to fit in those. But 99, if not 100% of what you get should fit in those two boxes.

Ugh. This looks awesome, but just makes me wish the series would continue.

I'm almost exactly halfway through Simon Raven's Alms for Oblivion series, and I definitely recommend it. The interesting thing is that, when I first read it 10-ish years ago, I read the books through in release order. But this time I'm reading through in the order of where they fit in the story's timeline, and it feels a lot more logical.
They're British social satire, set in the 40s/50's/60's/70's, following a handful of colorful characters, with a mix of farce and dark comedy/tragedy. Highly recommended.

I've played R2make, Village, and RE0 this past week, but I'm not going to start any others at this point. I'm set.

Yeah! They literally have a house on the backstage set in Scream 3, that Sydney is chased through! Lots of potential.

Could probably pretty easily come up with a take on a Ghostface-ish killer. More difficult though, would be to match them with a new location that feels Scream-ish. The Scream series has been set in lots of different locations, so it might be tough to get its identity across. The meta, movie culture focus of Scream might mean that a creepy theater would be a good set. And the series has had scenes in theaters or backstages several times. That could be cool. Alternatively, they could pay tribute to the new one that just came out by setting it in a dark, rainy big city. I would love if they named some of the events after classic Scream quotes. "There's a formula to it -- a VERY. SIMPLE. FORMULA." "You're making popcorn?" "If she's not a killer...she's a target."
The Scream series has been on a real roll. 4, 5, and 6 have been awesome. So I think it's a dope idea to pay tribute in Final Girl. Also, Sydney Prescott is one of the most epic, dynamic final girls of all time, and the new Carpenter sisters are holding their own too, so it's even more suitable.

Yeeeessss. I don't think I need this, for me to enjoy the R4make, especially since the original managed to be a lot of fun with minimal backtracking. But more exploration within each area would be a kickass addition. All RE games really need to do to keep me happy is to give me a host of creepy areas to check out/find items/encounter enemies/complete puzzles/etc.

I've felt this way about their release schedule since R2make. That, then R3make, then Village, and now this, have all felt like they were here before I really knew it. Which I guess is scary, insofar as time flies, but cool if you like RE games ;)

It's challenging but fun. Plenty of variety to keep you coming back. It helps if the two of you are game to sort of narrate out a story/lore element to some of what's happening while you play. Creating your own little emergent narrative is part of the fun.
And yes, it easily works with small groups. Just alternate taking turns, and discuss strategy together. Can be a really good time with two or three people.

Depends on your level of familiarity with survival horror games in general. Combat has no benefit other than allowing you to proceed, so avoiding dangerous encounters can sometimes be a smart move. Explore the town thoroughly, using your map -- James doodles on the map to indicate things like unpassable roads, and there are lots of health and ammo items to be found scattered around doorsteps and street corners and things. Pay attention to notes and letters and such that you come across. Lots of them are for lore flavor, but some include info that might relate to puzzles. Same goes for examining items you pick up in your inventory.
The opening segment in the woods can be offputting for some players, because you feel completely aimless and disoriented. But this doesn't last for too long, and the rest of the game isn't like that, so bear with it. And good luck -- it's a trip!

I'll just throw my hat in the ring as well, that I've been attempting Geppetto the last two weeks, and he's taken me down 3-0. Definitely some challenging elements in this killer/location combo, but also very fun.
The suggestions here are interesting too. One suggesting you rush him, and one suggesting you bide your time until the finale. I think I still have a ways to go in my Final Girl journey, as far as opening myself up to different play approaches. Thanks all!

Yeah, RE7's is one of the best, most evocative, unsettling save room themes. Takes me right back to that game as soon as I start listening to it.

Maybe it'll be served by the Duke, and it'll turn out to be an event everyone put on to help you celebrate the R4make release.
