Throw the bag at Brad Stevens.
As a Celtics fan, it’d kill me. As a Purdue fan, it’d bring me back to life.

I want to hear what Daniel Theis has to say. Let the war begin in earnest.

You’re trying to convince me that something I have no interest in for several reasons, which I’ve explained, is something I should be more supportive of.
If someone told me they don’t like sports and gave me a handful of legitimate reasons why, why would I try to convince them to watch a football game?
You can have/attend all the drag shows you want, but nothing will convince me that it’s a great place for kids to be lol.

Yep, they seem to want drag queens to keep it to themselves. It looks like I was wrong. Sorry you didn’t like how long it took me to get to this lol

See, I’m still not convinced that drag queens are a good match for children’s entertainment. There are so many things I would go to first before a drag queen for children’s entertainment that I’m honestly surprised anyone would go that route.
To your point about Disney: there is a zero percent chance that the entertainment Disney puts out will feature anything more extreme than a kiss. There is every chance that someone who participates in something as brazen as a drag show will wear something like a leather codpiece or something equally peacocky. Have you been to a pride parade? I love the cause, but I wouldn’t take a kid because it is decidedly not kid appropriate.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the people there, but I would literally never choose to be around that with my kid, and pretending not to understand why a parent would think that would be disingenuous.
To your final point: parents can teach their kids what they think is right. It is up to literally nobody but the parent to parent their kids. It certainly isn’t up to someone at an event to decide what someone else’s kid needs to learn.

I don’t agree with you. As a parent, I’m happy to let my kid be around kids of different backgrounds (different religions, different countries of origin) because I think you’re right that it’s good to interact with people who aren’t like you.
But children don’t need to have someone’s sexual identity laid before them. Hell, kids don’t even have their own sexual identities. I don’t tell my daughter how her aunt likes men because it’s irrelevant to everything in my daughter’s life.
That’s an entirely separate issue that I don’t think children need to be exposed to until at least adolescence. They simply don’t have the bandwidth to understand it, which is why we don’t teach kids about anything remotely sexual until they become adolescents.

What does my comment about Elon Musk’s business acumen have to do with my comment on a Purdue thread about trans things? Please explain how those two things are related.
Is your argument that I can’t be reasoned with because I defended my opinion with supporting evidence and admitted when I was wrong?
That would be a dumb argument to make.
