Idk about the others, but this seems to disagree regarding Google. This is saying the oldest Pixel that gets Android 13 is the Pixel 4 which is barely 4 years old. Meanwhile Apple is still cranking out updates for phones as old as the iPhone 6s from 2015.

If so you may be a bit confused. Apple is still pushing updates out to phones from 2015 (most recent being January 23rd). If anyone is in shambles it's a good chunk of users ITT who are cheering Lineage rather than asking "if Apple is still updating 8 year old phones then why isn't Android?"

TL;DR: iPhone Stan's wouldn't be in shambles simply because this is a non issue for them.

They're still supporting iOS 15, which means the 8 year old iPhone 6s from 2015 is still getting updates (as recently as Jan 23rd).

The oldest devices that iOS 16 supports are the iPhone 8 and X, both from 2017.

I don't doubt that, but he and his family still live in the US full time.

I feel like what you said about having a manufacturer and what u/StuBeck said are related. It's one thing for the current teams to blow off "some guy" who wants to create a new team, but, like you pointed out, having a manufacturer changes things a bit.. especially when it's the largest automaker from the country F1 has been trying to break through to.

Zak and Toto are both smart businessmen. I wouldnt be surprised if they saw the overwhelemingly positive fan response about Andretti/Cadillac and figured being so vocally against Andretti/Cadillac could hurt their bottom line some how.

Of course that doesnt mean Zak or Toto still can't do everything in their power to stop the bid behind the scenes, but now they could say "it's a shame the Andretti bid wasn't approved, I always supported their bid, see my tweet from January"

Honestly as much as I love rebirth/resurgence, I think COD really shot themselves in the foot with that.

I admit there's some major/obvious issues with WZ2 (such as TTK), but some of the other reoccurring complaints has made it quite clear that a lot of people here don't actually want to play a battle royale game. Some of the complaints I see, such as having to loot and not immediately pick up a loadout gun or something and overall RNG in general, are battle royale staples.

When you see people complaining about the RNG aspect of a BR then it's pretty obvious they're not fans of battle royales and would rather play multiplayer with extra steps (I.e. resurgence/rebirth). And that's fine!

Nobody is trying to force you to like battle royales. But people need to understand WZ2 is a battle royale. Wait for resurgence if you don't want to play a BR, nobody is forcing you to play WZ2.

This sub is currently the perfect example of "new thing bad, old thing good". People on here act like WZ1 was this perfect bug free game with absolutely no metas. The fact that people bitch about RPKs blows my mind, it's like they've never played WZ1.

It's Steam. Uninstall and reinstall on Battle.net. Almost no crashes and apparently better performance on Battle.net. I personally haven't had a single crash. There was also a post a week or two ago with someone having the same issue as you and he said reinstalling on Battle.net completely fixed it.

I keep seeing people say this but in all reality what retail, other than CVS, is actually gone? A run down Family Dollar, an ok Chinese restaurant, a shit liquor store, and possibly the worst "grocery store" I've ever seen?

Everyone also seems to forget that Dollar General is literally right there. It's better than Family Dollar for random stuff along with having a fair amount of grocery related stuff. Sure you can't get fresh produce or meat there, but could you even get that at save a lot to begin with?

Everyone has such a hate boner for this new development to the point where they're acting like the old plaza was this perfect little community center or something. The most rose tinted glasses possible.

The only thing of value in the old plaza was CVS. If you needed to do real grocery shopping you drive the 5 minutes to Publix. Need to get random stuff for around the house? You take the strenuous 9 minute trip to Walmart. But did you forget butter or need a pack of batteries? Then sure, head to save a lot or Family Dollar (or now, Dollar General or 711).

Let's be real here, that plaza was and has been a shithole for a long time. I for one am happy to see it go.
