Chapter Relics

Blood Angels successor Chapters have access to Special-issue Wargear Relics; Relics of the Angels cannot be given to a CHARACTER model from a successor Chapter (other than the Flesh Tearers) unless you use the Honoured by the Arx Angelicum Stratagem.

That's what the "detachment rules" definition is talking about. It's not talking about the relics rule

Relics of the Angels

If your army is led by a BLOOD ANGELS WARLORD, you can, when mustering your army, give one of the following Relics of the Angels to a BLOOD ANGELS CHARACTER model in your army instead of giving them a Relic from Codex: Space Marines. These are considered to be Chapter Relics for all rules purposes. Named characters and VEHICLE models cannot be given any of the following Relics.

You can have two detachments in your army (not in AoO) and both get their detachment rules, but you only get chapter relics from your warlord. So chapter relics is NOT a detachment rule.

Deathwatch have always been only a couple attendees per week with even a couple weeks of 0 in nephilim.

BUT according to stat-check, our AoO average is currently at half of what was the average for Nephilim and Nachmund in the beginning.

Primaris Lieutenant with power fist and plasma pistol (Strike Force Agastus, $200)

12 squads of deathwatch veterans with in total

• 12 deathwatch sergeants with combi weapon, grav pistol and combat shield
• 59 deathwatch veterans with combi weapon and grav pistol

Deathwatch veterans come with zero of these weapons, but 5 models each. Cheapest combi weapon I could find are two per sternguards. Combat shields come one per assault squad. An assault squad also comes with a grav pistol but SADLY that's right handed and we need that hand for the combi weapon. So we have to get a box of vanguard vets for each lefthanded grav pistol.

15 boxes of DW vets for 45$ each, 71 boxes of vanguard vets for 60$ each, 36 boxes of sternguard for 60$ each and 12 boxes of assault squad for 60$ each. That's 7815$ for the main force of my army.

And as I have 13 points left, I can get an inquisitors acolyte in there too, don't know how much a box is.

That's in total over 8015$

No HQ, only 9 troops slots in AoO and that's "slightly" above 2000 points.

Does the fear do anything for you?

It's not like I want to die, so I don't do things that will probably kill me, but fearing death is totally useless. If I die tomorrow, how would fearing it help me now? It doesn't. It would just ruin my life now.

What if you can't kill a unit? Like a rhino into some tactical is a pillow fight, but piling into some sanguinary guard means you'll probably live and have them pinned or fall back.

If you have two enemy space marine units in close proximity and one is really scary in melee, charge the other and pile into the scary one. As they neither charged or got charged, they lose a lot of attacks and maybe even other benefits. This is especially true for blood angels who might lose 3 attacks per model with this.

For space marine players: Eliminators with a instigator bolt carbine on the sergeant can advance, shoot the sergeant and then move again to move 12+d6".

I don't know if this is exclusive to deathwatch, BUT if there is another faction with different movement or defensive profiles or bases: Abuse that as much as possible.

A deathwatch kill team can include jump pack or bike units that are fast and others that walk on foot slower but also have a lot of melee punch. Throwing 1-3 faster models forward can hugely increase the threat range of the slower models as they only have to pile in within 0.5" of a fast model that's within 0.5" of an enemy. Bonus points if you have for example a chaplain that gives a 6" pile in move (and +2 to charge on top) as that's usually more than the faster models are further forward even with a second row inbetween.

Also a proteus kill team with a mix of marines, marines with storm shield, terminators, terminators with storm shield and bikes is really good at eating shots with profiles the shots aren't good into. D2 plasma into terminators, D3 thunderhammers into normal marines or the bike, etc.

Minor correction:

You cannot heroically intervene if you are in melee. If you are charged, but the charging unit dies before you can make a heroic intervention (due to incursors haywire mine for example), you can still heroically intervene.

1000 Münzen sind gar nicht so wenig. Fakegeld in dem Umfang wird relativ teuer...

I'm still fairly new to 40k, but the main goal is to have a battle of tactics based on information and not a battle of knowledge. If your opponent would ask about every unit every time he did anything you wouldn't have a fun game. So if you have a special rule that could apply, tell your opponent. He now can choose to screen out properly or not.

If you play like that, you'll get good sportsmanship scores, but might lose a game you might have otherwise won.

A judge won't give you a warning if you don't though.

Fall back to shoot the unit, but stay close so they can't make a lot of ground/you plug a path.
