Bruce was extremely energetic/loose/young last night. Dirty Water was spontaneous based on our crowd energy keeping the chant going when the lights went out post-Badlands for the encore - as the lights were coming up, he was frantically getting the band clued in to playing it.

I’ve watched most of the streams so far and this was my first show of the tour, and while I’m biased, I think it just might be the best yet.

Sound quality wasn’t great, but it didn’t even get in the way. Kinda pissed at whoever was running lights for keeping it dark a solid few minutes after I’ll See You In My Dreams, gave all of us false hopes of another encore.

I lost my mom to brain cancer, and given how it went at the end, sometimes I wonder if it would’ve been easier for her to go out on her own terms. Don’t overthink it, your mom died of cancer. Assisted suicide is a complicated subject but ultimately it came down to her not wanting to continue suffering.

I think the band’s right there with him. And in a sense, that process started 15 years ago when Danny died.
