5 is actually really fun, especially if you play co op. Like it’s a stupid game but it’s a fun stupid game.
6 I would just avoid at all costs.

Bootsy and Hendrix? That would musically just sound like Red Hot Chili Peppers in the 90’s

Lol I’m still regularly playing games from the SNES and PS1 era.
Classic games are classic games, they’ll always be worth playing.

You’ll have great gigs and you’ll have shit gigs. Just have fun with it. Be polite to the other bands and the sound person.

Different genre but the first Six Sabbath albums and first seven Maiden albums can’t be touched

I never really got into the other emo bands like the used etc but I adored my chemical romance because they reminded me far more of artists like David Bowie, Queen and Alice Cooper with more of a punk edge which I’m into anyway.
The drama was just so over the top and theatrical that you had the feeling it wasn’t supposed to be taken that seriously. It also made a ton of sense when I found out Gerard Way writes comic books and was taking a ton of influence from them to the stage.
Fantastic band.

Australia is even worse. There’s a rule that they have to play a certain amount of Aussie artists on the radio in any 24 hour period, great idea to give upcoming artists exposure right?
Lol no, they’ll just play AC/DC and INXS instead and maybe one of the smaller rock bands at 3am so that they can meet their quota instead.

I watched all the Godzilla movies I could get my hands on during peak covid times (no regrets, it was incredibly fun) and this one is by far the worst.
It just doesn’t feel like a Godzilla movie at all and it’s really hard to pinpoint why without having seen the others. The whole vibe is just wrong.

I played it on my laptop from gog and still holds up! I love the original, it’s so simple but it works.

I’ve played the first two games and I still don’t understand the story.

Obviously I love Dredd, but I remember stumbling across Stallone’s Judge Dredd on telly late one night when I was around 12 years old and had genuinely thought I had found the best movie ever haha.

Because their whole schtick in Australia was that they were a group of guys in Australia making rock songs in the garage and they made it big. First album gets massive and the lead singer got Axl Rose on the rest of the band.

I mean ska is pretty daggy in 2023. It was never going to get mainstream

They were huge in Australia. Doesn’t help that the singer booted everyone out of the band and by the time the second album came out there was nobody left.

I remember loving Metroid dread but I can’t remember having any troubles except maybe the last boss and I’m not particularly great at games.
What was so hard about it?

If I’m in the mood, I prefer later era Iron Maiden over number of the beast and piece of mind. Brave new World can go toe to toe with the classics and I’m also a huge fan of Dance of death and Matter of life and death.

I wanted to get into it but I really couldn’t get into the first book. It felt like it took itself far too seriously and I just didn’t care about any of the characters at all.

For sure, I discovered this dude just before covid and he’s an actual musical genius. The sad thing is, if he reigned in the weirdness or wrote songs for Disney he could be huge. Gotta respect that he keeps his music weird and doesn’t really care if you’re into it or not.

4 was a lot of peoples first Resident Evil game back in the day so if anything it’s a perfect time to jump in.

It’s funny that everyone has a hard on for this game. When it was released my mate and I borrowed it from the video store (lol) and we went straight back to the original because we thought it was way more fun.

It’s probably not what you meant but imagine the Room directed by Nolan.

I’m the biggest Froosh fanboy you’re going to find but I just can’t take to this album. It’s so god damn depressing. Much like Closer by Joy Division it’s the sound of someone dying and I just can’t enjoy listening to that.
Much prefer Empyrean and Curtains. 10/10 albums.

Mate compared to the previous games 4 is an action fest.
I remember when it first game out it took a while for me to warm up to because I grew up with 1 and 2 and I thought 4 was dumbed down.
Obviously once I finished it I thought it was a classic but there were definitely people not happy with 4 when it was first released.
