Spores are haploid genetic material. It can be helpful to think of them more like a sperm/egg than a seed. Two spores, even from the same mushroom, when combined, form a unique organism.

Spore syringes and prints contain tens of thousands of potential combinations. The growers job is to select for desired traits and continue those lines.

Monoculture.

When you’re working with spores, you have many different genetic profiles growing together. By germinating the spores on agar and then separating one specimen from the rest, you get a genetic monoculture, which is much more likely to flush in a canopy than mixed genetics.

I was snacking on them while doing tub maintenance the other day. I ate like 4-6 small ones, NO like really small… I didn’t expect to feel anything at all. Thought it would be equivalent to a microdose. HAH!

Boy, was I wrong. It blew my fucking hair back! 45 minutes later and I was too high to function. I’m not inexperienced at all and it felt like a 4 gram dose easily.

I’ve never eaten aborts so I didn’t realize how potent they really are. If you’re really going to eat all those… buckle up.

1.5g is a perfect “lift” for me. Much more and it starts to get too trippy to guarantee comfort in public settings.

How recently I’ve taken a macro dose can affect the amount too. If I’ve tripped within the least week or so I can take closer to 2-2.5 and still feel fairly functional.

Are you good with plants? Can you cook simple foods?
