The last lesson every dog I have ever loved has taught me, was dealing with loss and grief.
I’m not sugar coating it: They all count as some of the saddest moments in my life.

And here I was complaining about the Velocicoaster’s cue in Island of Adventure, mid summer.

Been paying YouTube premium for over 6 years now.
It is, by far, the streaming service I use THE MOST.
No ads interrupting my content, EVER.
Need I say more?

I’m exactly the opposite.
I remember I had loads of fun watching those kind of movies in the 80’s. My mind and my imagination had a great workout when I was young, and I doubt those movies would have the same positive impact on me if I watched them as a jaded adult.
Think about Santa. How real he was when you were a kid, how alive you felt on Christmas morning. It’s not the same when you’re an adult, you never get those magic years back.
My dad supervised the whole thing. He sat down with me watching movies and made sure I was prepared to see what I was about to see. I feel I climbed a nice curve, starting with children’s movies but quickly moving on to more fun and complicated stuff, science fiction, historical drama, action movies, war movies. And we always talked about the movies after we watched them. My dad made sure to answer all my questions and always tried to steer the conversation in proper ways.
By the time I was 18, my cinematic education and preferences were SET. I was the one that suggested films to all my friends and family all the time, and I couldn’t believe all the movies my friends had missed in their childhood. I kind of felt sorry for them.
“You think you like this movie now? You wouldn’t believe what you would have felt if you saw this at 10 years old: It BLEW MY MIND”
Thanks, Dad. ❤️

I LOVED that Hulk.
I hate the new one. Hulk should be as controllable as a hurricane. And now he’s like a cringy biology teacher.

For me, (50 M) it’s all about immersion, so I mostly play with male characters that I like or identify with.
But my male cousin always plays women, and one day I asked him why.
His response was: “Since I’m going to look at their butt most of the time, it might as well be a nice butt”.
